"I suppose I should leave soon," Taehyung says softly as he lets go of Jungkook. The latter sobs quietly as he wipes his tears from his cheeks and takes a step back.
"Today's last appointment is with you. Would you like to spend the afternoon with me, or is it too rushed?" he asks hesitantly, avoiding eye contact.
For a brief moment, Taehyung was dumbfounded since he had not expected it. He assumed that after he left the workplace, everything would return to "normal" and that they would both forget about the meeting. But it still made his heart skip a beat. He genuinely wants to spend his day with the older and is overjoyed that he has been asked to do so.
"I'd love to, Jungkook," he replies with a smile.
"Wait," Jungkook says as he listens to Taehyung's response. He was very certain that the other would say no. "Are you sure?" he says, his face brightening.
"Yes, I'd be delighted to spend my time with you... again," he adds, a warm smile on his lips and the last word mumbled.
"After all, I believe we have a lot to discuss, so yes... same here," Jungkook replies as he rushes up to his desk. "Just a minute, please!" he politely requests as he hurriedly organizes some documents on the table. "Okay, my assistant will take care of the rest. Can we go? " he asks, nearly bouncing with happiness at the thought of spending time with Taehyung.
"Yes," he says, a pleased expression on his face.
