I headed my way straight into the kitchen, where I see Beelzebub looking through a cookbook.
"Hey Beel, I'm here and ready to help with dinner!" I said out loud.
Beel looked quite surprised that I came, but welcomed me with warm arms. He smiled at me.
"Well, aren't you a little handy helper. I still can't decide exactly what to make though." He said showing me the recipes he was looking at in the cookbook.
"Mmm, so many different recipes to choose from." I said in awe looking through the recipes.
Beel kept on turning the pages until one familiar recipe made me grab hold of his hand.
"Beel, that one!" I pointed to the recipe for steak fried rice.
"That one? You sure?" Beel asked. I nodded my head yes.
"Alright, let's get started then." We started prepping everything and got to cooking.
"Alright, you mix the steak with the soy sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. I got the boiled rice."
I quickly finished the mixing and watched Beel wait for the rice to boil. I got bored and decided to work on the steak while he's waiting.
I got a pan and heated it to put the steak in it. What I didn't realize was that as I did that, Beel was looking at me the whole time in shock.
"Just how? You nearly could've burnt yourself!" Beel said as the he ran to me and held me.
"Well I wanted to prepare everything until the rice is ready." He just sighed and placed me back to the stool I'm using to reach the stove.
"Just please wait for me next time you want to use the stove. Your young and I don't want to risk you getting hurt. Got it?" He held out his pinky.
I shook the pinky with my own. "Pinky promise."
We both got the watercress heated while Beel watched the rice here and there until he took it out once it finished.
I cooked the egg into the pan and called for Beel to cut it into thin strips with the big bad kitchen knife.
"Alright, it's time to cook everything together now, (Y/N)."
We mixed all the key ingredients together now. The scallions, then the rice, and then the rest of everything.
I have to say this is one mission success.
"Mmm, this sure smells so good. I could gobble it up right now."
"Nooooooooooooooooo!" I yelled out when he was about to put his face into the finished dish.
"We have to say it all for everyone!" Beelzebub looked a bit disappointed, but relented and helped me carry each plate to the dining table.
I was surprised to see everyone else at the table.
"Ah, has our princess helped out in the kitchen again?" Asmo said as we placed the food on the table.
"Yep! I sure did!" I yelled out happily.
"She sure is a tiny little chef." Beelzebub smiled as he playfully held me.
"Well I'm glad your happy with cooking again, but please don't raise your voice at the table."
"Oh, okay." I said a bit disappointed myself.
"Ah, don't listen to Luci, (Y/N). He's just a big old party pooper." Mammon said in the same loud tone as me.
"Mammon...." Lucifer glared at Mammon.
"Well, what are we waiting for? I'm starving!" Beel said as we soon ate the food. It sure was delicious. Once we all finished, Diaval said he had an announcement to make.
"So, (Y/N). After getting some information on you and your background with my son, I have made a final decision of what shall become of you."
This got all the brothers interested, as we all wait to hear what he has to say.
"What's going to happen to me?" I nervously gulped.
Diaval took out what looked like a small envelope and had Lucifer, Satan, and Belphegor pass it over to me.
Inside the envelope, I found a small paper that had one word that stood out from the rest.
In an instant, tears began to fall down my eyes. Beel rushed to me and hugged me.
"D-D-Don't cry! What does the note say?" Belphegor asked me. Everyone looked surprised at him.
"N-Not that I care about her or anything! I just want to know!" He said much like a tsundere.
"I-It says will you like to be part of the family on it." I said as a still wept. Not from sadness, but pure joy. I'll actually have a loving family!
"Y-Yes, that means you're my new dad now!" I got out of my chair and ran up to my new dad. I gave him a big hug as all the others watched.
"Wait, adopt? That means......." Mammon finished off what Belphegor was going to say.
"She's our new sister?!" He practically screamed out.
"Mammon!" Lucifer got tired of him screaming.
"I believe so indeed, she shall now be our new sister." Lucifer said after squeezing Mammon's ear out.
However, Belphegor just stormed out of the table and ran off. He seems upset at this.
"Satan, what's with Belphegor? Does he not want a sister? Is it because I'm a human? Does he hate humans like me?" I asked worriedly.
"Don't worry, (Y/N). This must be very hard for him. I don't think he'll like it if we talk about it though. But he'll learn to get used to you. You'll see." Satan reassured me.
"Well, it was certainly a nice dinner, but I better go get ready for bed." I told them.
"Remember to brush your teeth and wash your face, (Y/N)." Lucifer reminded me as I left the room to the common bathroom.
After brushing and washing myself, I immediately set out to find Belphegor.
