A little while later into the party, Aaron and his son finally got to the party, almost everyone was in the party room. Kiara was still on the rink, so she didn't know more of Morgan's friends from work got here. Currently, she was backward skating to Bees Gees Staying Alive.
Derek and Spencer were talking, which she couldn't hear because of the music. "So... do you like her?" Morgan asked Spencer, which he watched her skate on the rink. When he looked back at his friend, he shrugged.
"She taught me how to skate, which reduces my chances of getting into a skating accident or falling on the rink," he didn't have an honest answer, which was understood. After all, the two only met a few hours ago. "Is that why you brought me here? You're acting like a matchmaker?"
"I'm only the messenger, Garcia's the one callin' the shots," he defended, though it was an impartial lie. Almost everyone on the team wanted him to get a girlfriend, but they also didn't want to rush it.
"Derek, I can tell you're lying. Come on, out with it," he rushed, trying to get an answer out of him. "Was this party your attempt at trying to set me up with someone?" Spencer could tell something was off with the party, even if they tried making it seem like a normal party.
"If I'm being honest, yeah. There was a bit of speculation, but luckily this party is just a greeting," both of their phones go off, which they knew would be a case. "Damn," just as Kiara got off the ring, she watched as the others walked toward the entrance.
"Is it a case?" She's gotten used to having Derek leave for his work, and considering the two had been friends for years, this wasn't something new. Seeing as he nodded, she sighed. "All right, I'll see you around, then," she still wanted to skate, so she stayed on the rink a little longer.

Within a few days when everyone came back from catching a killer in Witchita, Penelope greeted her colleagues at the door. Immediately, she had a look on her face that was far from innocent, and almost everyone could tell. "What's with that look in your eye, Garcia?" JJ was the first to tell something was up.
"So, you remember that thing you told me not to do when it came to meeting new people, and I promised I wouldn't do it?" She rambled, though almost everyone looked to Derek. He was the only one who knew about what Kiara's work was, or so Garcia thought.
"You did it anyway, didn't you?" He guessed, which she nodded. She clearly wasn't going to let the conversation go, so the group walked to the conference room.
"Yep. As we all know, her name is Kiara Davis, she's 27, which is great because she's right around Reid's age. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, but moved to D.C. six years ago. That's not what the concerning part is. For the past three years, she's worked as a professional Dominatrix and currently works at Lotus Blooms downtown."
Seeing as no one else was surprised, Penelope looked at everyone. "I don't know why I guessed six hours," Emily knew, which meant there was a chance everyone else did, too.
"You knew?" Penelope looked at the others and figured right. "Everyone knew, and you didn't say anything?"
"Well, if you asked her, she would've answered. Alright, everyone can go home, take the night off." Hotch announced, which the others silently cheered before walking out.

Later in the day, Kiara walked into her job, clocked in, and went to the back. Part of her job, specifically because she was the only one who knew Shibari like the back of her hand, was to put out five mannequins with different shibari styles.
