TW: Religious Manipulation (using the lord's name in vain), Death/Su!c!de.

As the day carried out as normal, Spencer accidentally slept on Derek's couch. His mind raced, so it was a surprise he fell asleep at all. When the morning came, Derek was first to get up and Reid did the same after ten minutes. "Mornin', sleepyhead."

"So last night wasn't a dream," he muttered, making Morgan pierce his lips together.

"Not quite. You might want to hurry over and get a shower and a fresh pair of clothes. I'll tell everyone you're running late." He assured before moving to his room again, though Spencer stopped him.

"Wait," he stated suddenly. "Can we not tell the others, please? I just-... I don't know," he couldn't pull enough words together to give him a reason not to tell the others. Even then, not telling the others about Eva coming after them would be dangerous. "She told me not to call anyone."

"And that was when Sinclair forced you to break up with Kiara. Now that she's not being targeted anymore, telling the others is the best way to make sure we get Eva next time something sees her on camera." Derek answered. "Besides, once Eva's in custody, then there wouldn't be anything stopping you from getting back with Kiara."

"Yeah, but the things I said suggest otherwise. I went too far, Morgan. I don't know if she could forgive me for what I said and did." though most of the things Reid said to Kiara were things he pulled out of his ass, there was some truth behind his words.

"I'm sure if you told her the reality behind the situation, she wouldn't be as mad as she would be without clarification. I'll let the others know about what happened, alright?" Now the two went their separate ways. Spencer went outside and to his car while Derek finished getting ready for work.

As Derek was the first to get to work, he was the first of the last two to sit down. "Where's Reid? He's usually the first one here." JJ pointed out, seeing as he still wasn't at work, and was about to be late.

"He's getting ready now. But I'm gonna be the first one to tell you, Eva went after Spencer and Kiara. The reason he said he couldn't say anything is because Eva told him not to call anyone." Hearing the gasps in the room, he continued. "And that he had to break up with her."

"Why would she go after them, of all people? Spencer hasn't done anything to affect her," Emily pointed out, though none of it made sense.

"Then maybe the idea that Eva's working with someone wouldn't sound so far left-field." Luke kept the theory in mind, which meant if she went after them, someone wanted to get to Spencer.

"Even if that's the case, we ran through the database on Eva, there wasn't a single person who would want to work with her. All of her so-called friends are either dead, missing, or out of the country." Matt knew a list of people who would've been associates with Eva, and there were none.

"So what if someone used her? She's a religious killer using God's name in vain, it would be easy to manipulate into doing something you want them if you use the right motive." Alex pointed out before hearing the door open. Now that Spencer was here, the sound in the room fell short.

"Spencer..." seemed as though everyone was at a loss for words, which wasn't surprising, but he sat down anyway.

"Can we please work the case, at least?" Knowing he was offset about what happened last night, he wasn't in the mood for talking too much.
