When Kiara got to the restaurant Penelope told her, she also texted the name on the reservation. Considering it was Prentiss, it didn't take long before she met with the others. "Oh, hi! You're here!" Penelope got out of her chair to hug the woman, which she chuckled before hugging the others at the table.

"Yeah, I am! I was kinda surprised you asked me to dinner with the women of the BAU," she gestured to the others as she sat down. Considering all of them worked with one another, they knew each other better than they knew Kiara. Hopefully, this would be some sort of "break the ice" moment.

"How have you been? The last time any of us saw you were at the skating rink, where we first met." JJ knew something went on between Kiara and Spencer, but now she had to ease her way into the conversation of their relationship.

"Oh, I've been good. I can tell you must have questions about me and Spencer, especially about the matchmaking thing someone pulled," she still didn't know who put them together, and though her mind told her it was Derek, it might've also been Penelope.

"Was it that obvious?" Emily asked this time, which she chuckled and nodded.

"Whenever you're friends with a profiler, you pick up on their profiling practices. You can ask almost any question and I would answer." She knew their questions would be something either asking about the relationship the two had, or about something else.

"Are you two dating?" Penelope nearly burst, which she took a sip of her drink and looked at Kiara. "Please? I'm dying to know!"

"I wouldn't exactly call it dating, I think, but we are in a dynamic." She answered as a waitress came with a cup of water and a mimosa. Setting them down in front of her, she looked at the drinks. "Did Derek tell you about what I liked to drink?"

"Profiling skills," Emily must've been the one to order it, which she looked at before chuckling to herself. Picking up the drink, she looked at JJ next.

"It's clear you have something to ask," she didn't want to call the blonde out, but all things considered, there was something else to say.

"Oh, it's not really something to ask, but from what I could tell back at work, he seems happy. Has he changed at all?" Seeing as JJ was the big sister to him, and understandably so, she looked at Kiara with hesitance.

"No, he hasn't. I don't know how he feels towards me, and I'm not sure I can describe how I feel towards him. It's a weird feeling, I'll put it at that," she shrugged as she set the drink down.

"You mean love?" Emily taunted, which she quickly shook her head. "Oh? Are you sure? I think I can see the blush on your face. I think you might be in love."

"It's not love, it's just... something, ya know? Besides, I don't like lying to him. I don't even know why I do it." Maybe it was deep-rooted insecurity, but it could've been something else.

"Lying to him? It's not something bad, is it?" Seeing as Penelope perked up at her words, she shook her head again.

"No, I don't think. I keep telling him I have bass practice, but it's not bass practice. In five months, my band friends and I are performing at the Harrison Opera House." Now that didn't sound too bad, and honestly, the girls looked excited for her.

"That sounds amazing! Why would you keep that from him?" It sounded almost shocking to hear, especially because it didn't sound bad at all. Instead, it sounded like an opportunity of a lifetime.

"Because I've never performed violin and cello in front of anybody, let alone a crowd of people, let alone family members. I only started learning it when I was 15, and I'm 29 now, but I never had the opportunity to perform with the instrument. It's only been bass, and not that I don't have an issue with the instrument, I just wanted to expand my horizons." She admitted, which Emily caught onto.
