Ch 1

"Ugh!" she groan, throwing the pink shell she was holding earlier. It was a birthday present from her father two weeks ago when she turned 18.

As the 3rd princess of Atlanda Kingdom ever since she was born she had always thought that she was free as long as she doesn't gain too much attention like her older brother and older sister that are currently line to the throne

Even if they all don't have the same birth mother, they still doesn't like to spill blood to their own kin just because of the throne

Atlanta Zyrian Chtholly Bürgueon was her name, because she was born with golden blonde hair that only blood of the royal bürgeon family can inherit, her blue sapphire eyes like the sea and sky shine brightly than anything, she was always referred as the most beautiful mermaid in the whole kingdom of Atlanta

Chtholly had always known that there was a tradition every generations from the human kind and their kingdom.

"It disgust me" Chtholly rolled her eyes, clicking her tongue.

Thousand's of years ago, the first King of Atlanta Sea Kingdom wanted to destroy the land where human's reside.

He was afraid that humans would attack them just because they are different from them, the first king was having difficult thought when suddenly a strange human approach him

At first the First King was very cautious however, they soon became good friends.

The strange man the First King encountered was none other than the Ruler of the humans, the First King was very disappointed at thought the strange man betrayed him

But this was solve when they made an agreement that cannot be broken easily by anyone.

It was an agreement that turn into tradition every generations.

A human that will be the next ruler will be betrothed to a princess from the Atlanta Kingdom.

"Well, there weren't any human and princess from the past that had married successfully"

"It was because the princess's from the past either died earlier"

Chtholly turn her head around, her eyes met with her older sister,Atlanta Syria Lùcia Bürgueon, the 2nd princess of Atlanta  Kingdom

"Older sister" Chtholly called her with a frown, Lùcia giggle a little patting her honey blonde golden hair.

"You must be angry with father, Lily"

Chtholly pouted , her colorful rainbow tail sway in the water. The others such as fishes, turtles that are passing by cannot help be captivated by her beauty

Lùcia with her bright blue tail sway with her tail as if copying her

"Of course i am! How could he just sold his daughter to those humans if he isn't crazy?"

"What made you dislike humans so badly,, Lily?"

Chtholly paused hearing her older sister's question. There were lot of things she wanted to say to her sister about those humans.

It was because when she was little she used to sneak out of the palace and would go out in the shore without her father's permission

Remembering those horrible memories when she was in the human land, she can't help but shiver in fear

"I-its intuition! yeah, that's right! It's always good to trust your instincts"

Although Lùcia's face look at her with doubtful expression, Lùcia can't help but let it slide,decided to changed the topic

"Christian also heard of the news. He'll be back sooner than expected"

"Older brother will be returning?"

"Who else is name Christian other than that punk siscon?"

Lùcia's words were sarcastic as if she find their older brother disgusting. Even though christian was older than Lùcia for 2 years, Lùcia doesn't refer and see him as her 'older brother'

In the past they were so close to each other, however, as the time goes by Christian's overly obsession to Chtholly grows so much that Lùcia was the only one that can control and beat up Christian

"Haha, i see both of you are getting along well"

Lùcia stare at her little sister's laughing face, she can't help but form a faint smile as she watches her

'Older sister will protect you, Lily'

Lùcia clenches her hands, holding back the emotions that are swirling inside her

"In the end, father still hasn't changed his mind"

Chtholly can't help but be disappointed to her father. Even though, she was sure from the start that she will be free from this kingdom, Chtholly sighed as it was all in her imagination

"Are you really leaving?" Elmo, the clownfish that has been her friend and partner in crime sadly asked

Chtholly smiled reassuring Elmo about everything.

"Don't worry, I'll return back when I'm finish with my business there"

Chtholly warm gaze fell off when Elmo left after their conversation.

It was the thing she decided to do ever since yesterday's conversation with Lùcia.

"I would have play tricks with father however it seems breaking this tradition is more important"

Her sapphire sea blue eyes was burning with determination, Chtholly was ready about the future that awaits her

She was also positive that she'll never fall in love with the Fiancee her father's talking about

Hoho, thank you so much for reading this book. To be honest, I'm really nervous however I'm determined that i can finished this book.
