" lavender! Get your ass down here!" My father yelled.
I went downstairs and saw my father sitting at the table with a cup of whiskey. He seemed serious . Almost to serious.

I sat down facing him with my legs crossed. " lavender. Honey your aware of the De Lunas? Correct?" He asked sternly. He looked nervous yet really serious like I did something wrong .
" yeah..? You told me and javi to stay away from them." I raised and eyebrow and poured myself a drink.

" well the de Lunas are gonna be there and I'm gonna make it crystal clear. You are not to be around them. Do you understand me?" He grabbed the drink out of my hand and poured it into his.
I scoffed and sat back in my chair.

My father hated the De Lunas. I have no idea why. He told me and my older brother javi stories when we were younger about how David De Luna would kill people and his son Kash would clean the mess up. He made them sound like such bad people .
" hey L?" Javi called walking into my room.
I was putting on makeup and he took a makeup wipe.

I put on some heels and quick makeup.
We left to the party and I saw Josh. He's only the guy I've been crushing on for years. Gem nudged my arm and smirked when she saw me looking at him. " not even." I rolled my eyes and slouched.
Javi and his friends left to a corner and me and gem went with her boyfriend and josh.
