Mickey was pregnant. True yet unbelievable. Both of them were shocked when they found out that they were going to have their own kid. The south side trash talking thug was pregnant. Now mick was 8 months pregnant and they are expecting a baby girl soon.
"woah she just kicked!!" Ian exclaimed. It was about a 100th time he felt her kick. But every time it felt like the first. Mickey got used to his husband's rant about the baby.
" just wait till i get her out and make her kick your ass" mickey sassed. Ian chuckled
" I can't wait to meet her soon"
" Yaa me too" mickey said rubbing his bump "but now i am exhausted because of your daughter's day long of kicking me and i am going to sleep , good night"
"good night mick"
Ian helped mick into the bed. 5 years ago Ian couldn't have believed himself that he would be having a family. He felt happy and kissed mick in his back before falling asleep

Ian jolted up. He saw mickey tear stained face which was in horror.
"Mick baby are u alright?"
"I --" he pointed towards his crotch which was full of blood and a huge spot of blood stain in the bed. Ian was so horrified he forgot to move.
"ahh it hurts Ian " mick whimpered
Ian came back to senses.
"hospital.. we have to go to hospital now."
He jumped out of the bed. He carried mick to the car, he was in such a great panic he didn't even lock the door.
Ian was driving as fast as he could. mickey was still bleeding and it broke his heart to see his husband in pain.
"Ian i think ... something is wrong with her.... she is not moving ."
Ian knew something was really bad. The last time when he handling with a bleeding pregnant women, the child didn't make it. He can't live without his baby girl .. What if something happened to mick? All thought rushed to his head but now he can't panic. His mick needs him.
"Mick listen, our baby will be alright. Everything will be all right. Just hold on the hospital is here"
He rushed out of the car as soon as he reached the hospital. He carried mick into the hospital. Doctor surrounded him immediately.
Ian was holding Mick's hand all the while the doctors checked him. Mickey was crying and whimpering from pain.
"mickey, baby everything will be alright "
The doctors and nurses were running around him . Someone was doing the ultrasound while the others were trying to stop his bleed.
And all of the sudden everything stopped . He stopped crying. His face went pale. He stopped moving, his heart went flat line.
"HE IS IN V-FIB"
The doctor pushed Ian to the side of the room.
"A GRAM OF EPI. CHARGE. ALL CLEAR!"

"ONE GRAM OF EPI. ALL CLEAR!"

"ANOTHER GRAM OF EPI. ALL CLEAR!"

his line was still flat .
the doctors stopped. They turned towards Ian
" Sir we are sorry. We couldn't save... "
"NO NO NO MICK no u can't die , mickey mick please wake up ....."
'MICK!MICK" Ian cried seeing mickey by his side. It was a nightmare
"Are you okay ? u where literally screaming"
Ian could not be more relieved. He can never lose mick and the baby. They were alright. But Ian couldn't stop himself from crying .
"Ian ., Ian what happened"
"the baby .. u were bleeding.. and...." Ian felt like he had lost his voice. mickey understood that something happened to the baby and him in Ian's dream.
"hey, it's okay, We are alright " mick scooted near Ian .
"I love u both soo much mick i cannot live without u both"
"I love u too". mickey kissed ian in his lips
Mickey knew Ian greatest fear was losing the baby and him. He saw people dying everyday in his EMT job. Ian couldn't even accept the idea of losing them. He could see ian was still shaken by the nightmare.
" hey , look at me, see she is alright , and i am right here, i am not going anywhere nor is she, without kicking your ass"
Ian chuckled. What would he do without mick?
"I know mick, now lets go to sleep i know u r tired "
Ian cuddled mickey into his chest. He knew both Mick and his baby will be alright and even he could die to save them.
He had a family, a small one but enough to fill his heart
