Summary : Mark was bullied bad when he was younger which leads him to have a lot of insecurities and trauma but he never tell anyone. One day the rest of NCT met his bully and found out how much of a rough past Mark had.

    Mark was a ace in everything he do . He was in every unit of NCT  except wayv as it was a Chinese unit. Now with that say he was also very extroverted boy  with a very awkwardly social personality.

    He was really confident on camera that people might think he doesn't have anything to worry about but that's the quite opposite of the actual case .

    Mark actually had many insecurities, that even his band members were also surprised to know. He wasn't confident in his looks , he would always re-record his verse on the songs again and again even if everyone said it was great, he would always stay for extra dance practice and come to the dorm late even if he was exausted. His hyungs and dongsaengs were really worried about his health. Sometimes he would have some nightmares and woke up with a sweat drench body and face covered with tears . It was clear that he also had some kind of trauma that lead him to the situation he was in right now and his members always tried to ask him about it , to share with them what was the reason for his insecurities, for his trauma. And Mark would always flipped them away saying it's nothing.

   But it was something. The thing was
Mark got bullied severely.

   It was when Mark first come to Korea after passing the sm global audition in Canada. As he was still a student so he got admitted in the High school where most of the trainees and idols went to most of the times. At first it was very enjoyable, he also made many friends there. But then this one boy came and changed Mark's whole school life. His name was Seojin. Mark was really cute and well behaved so most of the students and teachers liked him and adored him alot which makes Seojin jealous. He didn't like the way Mark got popular at school so he take it upon himself that he would make Mark suffer and regret to come here.

     At first the bullying wasn't serious just little pranks like he would make Mark scared with fake insects, stole his lunch, force him to do his homework etc. But then it started to become out of the hand. Like he would always verbally abuse him saying how ugly he was, how everyone were just pretending to be his friend cuz they know that he is good for nothing and that they will leave him when time comes. That his members will also kick him out of the team cuz his rapping and dancing probably sucks , that he doesn't deserve to be a trainee in a big agency like sm and many more. Then it becomes physical abuse . He started to beat Mark. Sometimes it would be punch , sometimes kicking, sometimes it would be too much that Mark had to take some moments to even move any body parts.

    Mark didn't know why he was being treated like this by him. He wanted to tell his hyungs and dongsaengs about what was going on with him but Seojin's words repeated on his head that he would be just a burden to them if he do so, so he didn't say anything to them.

   He had to put makeup if the bruises were too evident. His hyungs would always ask him why he wasn't being as cheerful as he was used to be or why he was limping and Mark would always make some excuse.

   Soon Mark debuted so he wouldn't have to go to school everyday or most likely he would only go when their was any important classes or assignment or if any teacher asked him to come. So he was almost safe. Keyword "almost" cuz even if he wasn't being bullied everyday like before but he was still bullied whenever he would go to school.
