Summary : Mark get teased alot by everyone in NCT and doesn't say anything. But he got hurt by those constant teasings and started to talk less and less. Doyoung noticed it and starts to compliment Mark and try to get him back to his old self.

       Mark was always easy to tease. And it was a fact. His bandmates would always tease him , as he was really so cute and adorable and he didn't snap back at them. He would always get shy but there was something that others didn't knew. Even though Mark would blush or become shy by their teasing, he would also feel sad too. He would hide his sadness but it was really hurtful for him.

      Day by day he started to lose confidence, he would talk less now, he wouldn't laugh as much as he used to do and started distance himself from his members. He would always sit in a corner when they will be together in a room , so his members wouldn't notice him or bully him.

      The members didn't really noticed Mark's change of behaviour. Thinking maybe Mark was tired from his constant practice of different units. However one member did eventually. It was Doyoung.

      Well Doyoung had a crush on Mark from a long time but he didn't told him yet. He would always look at Mark and take care of him. So it was easy for him to know that Mark wasn't tired because of his practice but something else was bothering him. So he decided he would ask Mark himself about it.

     So he asked Mark when they finished practicing and were going to their dorm. But Mark being Mark, didn't said anything except a "it's nothing Hyung" . But Doyoung knew it was something so he didn't give up on knowing the problem. He knew that Mark wouldn't tell him anything so he started to observe him as to when he was most upset.

     It didn't take much time for Doyoung to know that Mark was upset because of his members constant teasings. So whenever their members would tease Mark, Doyoung would always compliment or praise Mark like " don't listen to them, it's ok" or " that's a really good thing " or " you did great Markie" etc. Mark was actually becoming his old self and Doyoung was happy because of that.

    As Doyoung has started to compliment Mark the members were getting a little bit suspicious as to why Doyoung was doing that mostly while they were teasing him. Don't get them wrong, they doesn't have any problem with that, in fact they also praise Mark alot a and why not he deserves it afterall and they also knew about Doyoung's crush on Mark so it wasn't really a problem for them. But they teased Mark just for fun, they didn't mean the things they would tease Mark with, their teasing doesn't held any venomous words, or any mockery, they just liked whenever Mark would blush at their teasing. That's why they tease him just to see the cute boy's flushed, cute face. But the way Doyoung was complimenting him at that right moment it made them feel they were doing something bad. So they thought about discussing it with Doyoung, not jumping into conclusion, as they knew Doyoung did something like that for a reason.

     They called him to the living room. Mark was at his room. Doyoung came to the living room. " What do you guys want to talk about?" Doyoung asked confused. " Well it's about you complimenting Mark " Yuta said. " We noticed that you are praising Mark alot these days" Taeil said. " Yeah I do , and don't you guys do that too? " Doyoung asked more confused. " Oh hyung what Taeil hyung meant is why you are praising him the most whenever we are teasing him, you know we don't really mean the words we say to him while teasing" Haechan said. " Yeah, we do it for fun as he is so cute and adorable and got blushed easily which is the cutest thing" Taeyong said with squealing imagining Mark's face. " And you praising Mark at that exact time made us look like we really are bad people or anything " Jaehyun said. " So can you tell us why you do that?" Johnny asked. " Yes hyung we know there must be a reason " Jungwoo said. Doyoung sighed and looked at them. " Well you are right, their is a reason why I do it. First of all you know I have a huge crush on Mark" Doyoung said and everyone nodded smiling. " Well as because of that I pay extra attention to Mark and I noticed few weeks ago that Mark was being unusually quite and wasn't talking or laughing much. Just like you guys I thought at first that maybe he is tired because of his schedules but then I noticed it wasn't the case. I asked him but he didn't tell me anything. But then I started to observe him more and find out that Mark was upset because of our teasing." Doyoung said and everyone gasped. They didn't knew about it at all. Doyoung continued " I know why we tease him but I think sometimes our teasings hurt him alot. We should make sure that we were just kidding at the end of our teasing so he wouldn't think of those as real, that's why I was complimenting him whenever you guys were teasing him." Doyoung said and they all felt guilty so they went towards Mark's room and asked him for forgiveness. Which Mark did easily as he wasn't angry at his members. They then praised him alot. And cuddled with him together.

     Later that day when Doyoung was out the members told Mark about how Doyoung was trying his best to make Mark return to his old self and also about how he was crushing over Mark. Mark blushed at that as he also had a crush on Doyoung. So when Doyoung came home he was confused to see his members teasing smile towards him and a blushing Mark who was avoiding eye contact with him but was still glancing at him here and there.

     Then their members went to their rooms making different excuses leaving Mark and Doyoung in the living room. Doyoung was still confused. He took Mark's hand in his and asked gently " Markie is everything okay?" " Y-yes Hyung" Mark said. " Then why are you stuttering and blushing ?" Doyoung asked concerned. " Actually hyungs and hyuckie told me that y-you have a....umm that y-you l-like me " Mark said and Doyoung stand there shocked. " Umm don't worry Markie you don't have to think about that if you feel uncomfortable because of that then I will—" " NO!"  Mark said shouting " I mean I l-like you too hyung, that's why I was you know blushing and all.." Mark said Doyoung was again surprised. " Really, you like me too?" Doyoung asked not quite believing, Mark nodded and Doyoung engulfed him in a hug. " So will you be my boyfriend Markie?" Doyoung asked and Mark nodded again against Doyoung's chest. Doyoung smiled and so did Mark. He then lifted Mark's face, who was still a blushing mess and lean in asking " can I kiss you Markie?" And Mark nodded again looking at Doyoung with his doe eyes. Doyoung closed the distance between their lips and kissed Mark gently. They kissed for a while and then pulled away with the biggest grin on their faces.

    " Thank you Markie for becoming my boyfriend" Doyoung said kissing Mark's knuckles who giggled cutely. " Thank you too hyung for helping me, hyungs and hyuckie told me that how you were trying your hard to cheer me up by complimenting me and also told them about my reason for being upset " Mark said pecking Doyoung's chin. Doyoung smiled and pecked Mark's forehead and then nose and then his lips. They were giggling and laughing with happiness while the other members were seeing everything and giving each other thumbs up for their work to get them together.

     After that whenever they will tease Mark they will make sure to let him know at the end that they were just kidding. Mark was also happy. And Doyoung seemed the happiest.
