Gojo will always give you a smile when possible even when he doesn't feel like it. He kept his health and well being up just so he could say those small helloes and good byes to you in the hall and look good for you. There were some times where the both of your classes would cross paths and he wouldn't smile at you or say "how's your day" and if you didn't say anything he'd stop and say "come on not even a sassy remark or a hair flip?" Or something with a little joke in it. That's just how Gojo is and he always knew how to make you crack a smile regardless of how you felt about anything.
It's been about five years since the two of you broke up and he's never not tried. On your birthdays he'd send you a smiling selfie with happy birthday beautiful written on it or he'd do something huge to get your attention so he could say it in person. He'd go all out as if you two were still and always have been together. He knew just how to make your day and she he saw how tired or worn out you were he'd try his best to fix it even though you kept your distance.
One day after he said his morning greeting you said "good morning Gojo" and he chuckled at the the extra word you gave him. You and into your office as he mentioned it and you shook your head. Whatever do you mean. You chuckled back at Jim's bd closed the door but didn't lock it this time which was your first time ever. He smiled seeing that and went into his office leaving you alone seeing that you trust him enough to leave it unlocked.
That next day he got you all types of sweet and snacks. When you went to your office and he was there in his usual spot he said his hello as you nodded at him and went to your door but stoped seeing the gift basket at the door. You bent down and grabbed it and looked at it.
"Your favorites"
You blushed and smiled looking at all the things he put together.
".......thank you Gojo" you turned and nodded at him and went into your office closing the door behind you and didn't lock it. You could hear Gojo silently celebrating in the hall and opens it a crack looking at him and smiled wide seeing him do a happy dance but quickly stop and lean against the wall acting cool when he turned and saw you looking. You laughed and closed the door going to your desk and he smiled widely hearing your laugh for the first time in so long. He went to his office smiling and carried out his day as usual.
