There was formality in Osmond's attitude toward Hilise, as if he was opposed when dealing with Gabriel.
In a good way, it was polite, but it also showed that there was no friendship between the two so far. In the first place, Gabriel became close because she was introduced early because she was Ricardo's beloved step-sister.
In addition, unlike Gabriel, who came up early and pretended to be friendly, Hilise was timid and sociable, and often left her seat immediately after saying hello.
As a result, there was no chance to get close, and Osmond did not have to try to get closer to Hilise.
Hilise also greeted the two people who came out to greet her in person.
"I haven't seen you both in a long time. Thank you for inviting me to this meaningful event."
She then gave a separate congratulatory address to Heliona Amelie, the host of today's party.
"Congratulations on your first anniversary, Lady Heliona."
"Thank you."
As soon as their eyes met, Heliona answered, blushing her cheeks without realizing it. Despite feeling the loss of Callicia's, Hilise was not what she had known until now.
Hilise, who had a cool, dry atmosphere, made her wonder as she had never felt. The quiet voice that rings lower than she thought and the slightly lowered eyes somehow differ in depth from before.
(Maybe that's why I felt my heart tickling when I was looking at her right in front of me.)
Heliona added a lovely smile, feeling strangely elevated.
"It just so happens that there's another valued guest here."
Osmond's eyes moved to Hilise's side this time. Then Heliona greeted them brightly.
"Thank you for coming, Christian!"
Christian also smiled at Heliona like that.
"The Amelie and Parvenon's, I should definitely welcome the union of the two families, so I should come to congratulate you."
Then, Osmond grinned at Enrique this time.
"Enrique, you're here too. Thank you for coming."
"Of course. Congratulations on your first anniversary."
Maribel and the Ferrano's were both members of the Inoaden's family. So Osmond and Enrique, who are similar in age, were also close.
But Enrique was not part of the regular meeting Ricardo and Osmond had last met.
This is because Ricardo and Enrique were somewhat out of character.
Furthermore, it did not make sense for a Ferrano to become equal friends with them because of the restraint of the Inoaden that happens to be the people they serve.
"By the way, are you the only ones who have arrived?"
Suddenly, Heliona glistened her eyes and asked.
"No. I ran into him a little while ago."
The two men behind Hilise just smiled briefly at her insensitive reply.
"I see. Let's go inside."
Heliona somehow seemed a little disappointed, but Osmond took the lead with a smile of some sort.
And so they entered the spectacular banquet hall in front of them.
