let's try again

"Oh I didn't expect four other people to be here" She said and Theo chuckled nervously

"So uhm what should we watch" Theo asked as he wrapped his hand around Mila's waist

This boy will be the death of me Mila thought as she tried not to blush

Theo didn't realised what he did until it was too late, he didn't want to remove his hand just in case she didn't mind but if she did mind he didn't want to make her uncomfortable

He was moments away from yanking his hand away when Mila leaned into his chest

This girl will be the death of me  Theo thought as he looked down and smiled at the girl he was holding

"Can you guys cuddle when you're laying down and out of my sight because right now you're all tangled up and personally feel I uncomfortable" Blaise said and Brooke, Draco and Daphne hummed in agreement

Theo walked over to the couch opposite the TV and sat down in between Draco and Brooke.

Mila was about to sit next to Blaise but Brooke tripped her making her fall into Theo's lap

Daphne and Brooke snorted but seized their laughter once they met the eyes of the angry hufflepuff

"Uh can you get up. Please!" Theo said in a strained voice

Mila looked down and where she landed and

"Yep yep I'm so sorry" she said as she quickly got off of him. He grunted and his face turned bright red

"You've crushed the poor guys n-"

"STOP DRACO" Theo shouted, interrupting him

"Uh I'm feeling a bit tired so I might have to rain check" Mila said as she tried to not look or sound as awkward as she felt

"No no no. Hill, Greengrass, Zabini and Malfoy get the fuck out" Theo said aggressively

Usually they would've protested but Theo looked extremely distraught and they didn't want to deal with another tantrum

"Fine and I'm so sorry love" Brooke said apologetically as she half smiled at Mila who was still glaring at her

They all left and it was only Theo and Mila left in the room.

"I'm so so sorry about that I really didn't mean it" Mila said hurriedly

"No no it's fine" He said as he sent her a reassuring smile

"So uh what should we watch?" Mila asked and Theo shrugged

He turned on the TV and started browsing through Netflix

"How about 365 days?" He asked and she nodded

"I've heard of it but I don't know what it's about" Mila said

"Well how bad can it be" Theo shrugged before he wrapped his arm around Mila's shoulders and she snuggled into him

He pressed play and they both stared at the screen

"Theo calm down, calm down" Mila said as she rubbed his back and gave him a glass of water

"Are you okay now?" She asked as he drank the water she gave him

After a particular scene  in the movie Theo gasped and choked on the air so for the past 5 minutes he's been trying to breath normally again

"But- on the boat- how did they not slip- that was-"

"Shhh shh it's just a movie" Mila hushed him

"Muggles are dirtier than I thought" Mila sighed as she walked over the Theo's bed and laid down

"Wait until you discover po-" Theo blabbed without processing what he was saying

"Discover what?" Mila asked, she knew exactly what he was going to say but she wanted to embarrass him

"Uh wait until you discover po uh popcorn" Theo put emphasis on the end of the word as he nodded his head trying to be convincing

Mila laughed as she closed her eyes and inhaled slowly

"This whole day has been a disaster" Theo said as he laid next to her

She hummed in agreement before she turned to face him

She lifted her right hand to his hair and played with it gently

"Your hair is fluffy" She smiled, feeling weirdly calm around him

Meanwhile Theo was trying with all his might to suppress the red blush that so desperately wanted to engulph his face

"Let's try this again" He said and she paused

"I'll pick you up from your common room saturday night and we can have a date in the kitchens" he continued

"Okay" She smiled as she resumed stroking his hair

In that moment they were carefree

Theo felt like he was on cloud 9

However, Mila was conflicted

She felt relaxed with Theo and she already knew she was attracted to him because of the Amortentia

But it's hard to go from hating someone to liking them in the time span of a couple days

Theo knew that she was probably overthinking

But he didn't care about that

All he cared about right now is that he is with Mila and they're both happy

He couldn't help but feel an overwhelming sence of joy

Then he couldn't help himself, he closed his eyes and cuddled into her as she continued to play with his hair

"How did I get so lucky" He murmured into her neck, not realising that she'd heard him

Mila's eyes widened and her cheeks warmed up
