Mila waited outside the common room for her Slytherin friend to join her, when she saw a tall figure with Slytherin robes approach her she ran straight towards them.

Assuming it was Draco she tackled them into a big hug making them both stumble.

Theodore looked down at the 5'7 hufflepuff hugging him and panicked, he pushed her off and patted his face down attempting to get rid of the blush that formed on his face when she hugged him.

Mila realised that she probably didn't hug Draco and looked up with an apologetic look on her face.

"Oh it's you" she spat and her face turned into stone. Her face became cold and expressionless.

"Bab- Allen watch where you're going" Theodore mentally scolded himself for almost calling her babe.

He wondered if she'd noticed.

She had.

"What were you about to call me?" She asked, she assumed he was going to call her baby girl which is what Adrian called her whenever he made a disgusting comment.

Theodore sighed, he thought that she'd realised that he was the mystery Slytherin she was talking to and that's why she looked disgusted.

"I was going to call you babe" he admitted which made Mila become bothered. But why?

"Don't call me babe. Only my friend can call me that" she said as she gave him a dirty look. Why she felt like only her mystery admirer could call her that, she did not know. But what she definitely did know is that Theodore definitely could not.

Theo was surprised to say the least. Had she just called him her friend? Even though she didn't know that Theo is the one that had texted her this still meant that their relationship has progressed.

He smiled to himself like a 5 year old getting sweets.

"Why are you so smiley" Mila asked, curious to what could of made this 'rude' Slytherin so happy.

"Oh nothing important" he smiled again and she rolled her eyes.

"Hey lala" Draco called as he walked up to Theo and Mila. Theo couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy.

He knew that they were just friends and neither of them liked eachother romantically but he couldn't help it.

"Hey baby girl, changed your mind about my offer yet" Adrian smirked as he came out from the shadows.

Mila's smile dropped. "Oh it's you Pucey" she sighed as she subconsciously shuffled closer to Theo. Theo wondered why she had gone closer to him and not Draco but he didn't mind at all. It actually made him feel happy, despite her being oblivious to this Theo had felt the need to be protective over her since they were little.

They'd first met in Malfoy Manor when his dad needed to discuss some things with Lucius Malfoy and Charles Allen. He was told to go upstairs and play with Mila and Draco, who were playing with some muggle toys Draco's mum managed to give them without his dad knowing.

Theodore, only being raised by his cruel dad and not having a parental figure to actually educate him, thought that muggle things were filthy and disgusting.

He marched downstairs and went to the first adult he saw which happened to be Charles Allen, Mila's dad.

He told him everything and Charles was furious, Charles stormed upstairs and grabbed Mila. He pushed her into another room and shouted at her until she cried, then he apparated them away and Mila didn't go back to Malfoy Manor for months after that.

Draco had gone to the bathroom before that happened so when Theo told him what had happened Draco was angry and sad.

Narcissa Malfoy came upstairs and told Theo off for getting Mila in trouble, she told him that now she'd be punished very harshly and he felt horrible.

The next time he saw Mila she avoided his gaze and was much quieter and reserved since the first time he'd met her.

Eventually Mila forgave Theodore and they became somewhat friends, that was until she was sorted into Hufflepuff.

She was terrified of what her father would do, he made it very clear that she would be severely punished if she wasn't a Slytherin so she decided to not tell him for as long as possible.

Theodore was not aware of this, so in his letter to his own father he had casually mentioned that Mila was a hufflepuff.

Since their fathers were friends Mila's dad found out rather quickly and at age 11 Mila was banished from Allen Manor and disowned.

Mila thought Theodore did this on purpose and vowed to never speak to him ever again.

Up until third year the older Slytherins used to tease Mila for being a hufflepuff from a Slytherin family. She didn't want to tell her best friend, Draco, because he'd probably murder all of them so instead she just let it happen.

Eventually they'd stopped and she just assumed it's because they got bored, but it was actually because Theo had caught the bullies planning to do something to Mila and he had dueled them all. And won.

That's when Theo got his bad boy reputation, stories passed around about why he'd dueled the older students but he just ignored them.

The only person who knew the real story was Brooke Hill, Mila's other best friend. But she'd promised Theodore to never tell a soul.

Of course she'd tried telling Mila the next day but Mila hated being told secrets so she refused to listen.

Ever since then Theo told himself that he'd do anything to make sure that Mila Allen was never uncomfortable or hurt in any way possible.

"Baby girl were you thinking about me" Adrian said and Mila looked away.

"Pucey back off a little" Draco warned as he became visibly angry.

"Woah woah woah I'm just trying to talk to my girlfriend" Adrian defended

"Ex girlfriend" Theo corrected aggressively which made Mila look up at him confusingly.
