Broken

(Stiles p.o.v)

I was driving home from getting groceries , It was about 9:30 my dad didn't get off until 10:00. I was driving home when I saw a familiar body curled up in a ball against the wall. I turned into the alley and parked my car, I got out and as I got closer I saw Kate's long brown hair. "Kate?" I asked. She looked up at me, she had makeup smeared all over her face her cheeks were tear stained. Seeing her like that made my heart break. I may have never officially admitted it but I developed feelings for Kate. "Stiles?" She said her voice shaky.

"Kate what's wrong." I asked her. She looked at me and started sobbing again I walked over to her and wrapped my arms around her and pulled her into my chest "shhhh, Kate it's gonna be ok." I felt so bad I just hoped she was ok.

// (Kate's p.ov)

"Kate?" I heard a voice say I looked up and saw stiles "stiles?" I replied. "What's wrong?" He asked. I couldn't answer him I just broke down sobbing he walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his chest I just continued to sob and let it all out.

About an hour of me crying I calmed down "Kate what's wrong?" Stiles asked. I swallowed I needed to tell him everything, everything. "Stiles if I tell you everything you won't hate me right?" I asked
"Of course not Kate, you can tell me anything." stiles said. I took a deep breath and spoke up " three years ago when I was 13, my mom was diagnosed with cancer and passed away. I thought life couldn't get any worse but it did, that's when it happened." A few tears escaped from my eyes and I took a deep breath "What happened?" Stiles asked.

"Last year, my dad was teaching my how to drive." I took a deep breath this was the first time I've ever told this story to someone, beside the police. "It was a yellow light and I thought if I went fast enough I could make the light, my dad kept saying no just wait, but I told him I could do it." A few tears streamed down my face, and stiles was still holding me.

"I sped up the car, and as I was crossing the road and the car hit the passenger side flipping the car 3 times. He died instantly, the car was totally demolished and I was really lucky to be alive." I started sobbing again "stiles it's all my fault, it's all my fault."

(Stiles p.o.v)

"Stiles it's all my fault, it's all my fault." She started sobbing and I couldn't help but feel bad for her, I mean it was just an accident "Kate, it was just an accident." I reassured her "but if I just would've waited for the light to change none of this would've happened." she said. "Kate, this isn't your fault ok? everything's gonna be ok?" It was really sad, to hear both of her parents died. "Here Kate lets get you home." I was still holding her and her head was buried into my chest. She looked up at me her face was all puffy and red from crying "stiles my aunt passed away this afternoon, I don't know what I'm gonna do."

I didn't know what to say things just couldn't get any worse for Kate right now. "you can come stay with me for tonight, and we can figure the rest of this out tomorrow." I replied. "Really?" She asked "of course, c'mon." I stood up and helped her up , she engulfed me in this big hug. We stayed like that for a minute. She looked up at me "do you hate me stiles?" she asked. "Of course not Kate you did nothing wrong." I looked down a her she was a head shorter then me, I stared into her puffy brown eyes. I leaned into kiss her and she kissed back, that's when I knew Kate's the one.

(Kate's p.o.v)

Stiles leaned into kiss me I kissed back and my stomach filled with butterflies we pulled away and that's when I knew stiles was the one.
