Dario's POV:
"Happy birthday." I hugged Gabriel.
"Thanks." He smiled.
"My oldest is old." Mariana sighed. "I'm old."
"How old ARE you?" Joaquin asked.
"Well, little Putellas," Gabriel crossed his arms. "I am 23 years old today."
"That's so old." He gasped. "Mama, how old are you?"
"If you value your life you'll never ask me again." Jenni said.
"Jenni." Alexia nudged her.
I knew this day was hard for Mariana. As much as Gabriel's birthday was a big deal, it was also a reminder of what she lost.
Her brother.
I looked at the picture Mariana had up of her, her brother, and her grandparents. "When was this, Mari?" I asked.
She smiled. "That was the day I joined Sporting. After they loaned me out, they got a women's team a few years later. They brought me back to the club and that was the day I signed the contract." She laughed. "Leo was so happy to play in the same organization. He tripped into the room while I signed the contract."
I smiled and looked at Gabriel. "Sounds like you, Junior."
"I'm his clone." He smiled.
Maxi looked at the picture. "You look like him."
"I got my dad's looks." He shrugged. "That Mendes gene is strong."
"I know." Mapi looked at the kids. "Even Luca looks more like a Mendes than a Leon."
"No, he doesn't." Nahikari said. "Luca, smile." He smiled. "See Mapi? He's got your stupid little smirk."
"Did Aunt Nahi just call me stupid?"
"Nahi only tells the truth." Leila said. "If she said you're stupid, then you are stupid my dear nephew."
The door opened and Patri walked in.
"Sorry, I'm late. The divorce is officially finalized. I am no longer a married woman."
"Let's get drunk!" Vir cheered. "Oh, my back. Never mind."

Maxi's POV:
I looked at my jersey as it hung in the locker room.

I smiled and saw Dario. "Big game today." He said. "Against Atleti."
"I know." I nodded.
He stared at his jersey.

"Why do you just wear Dario?"
"Mariona and Leila are both very important to me. Only wearing Caldentey felt wrong. Only wearing Ouahabi, also felt wrong." He touched the shirt. "And with everything that happened with my birth father," He shook his head. "Now I feel like I don't deserve either name."
I looked at Atleti's lineup. After a few injuries, they turned to their academy. Now at 15 years old, my brother was on the bench for Atletico Madrid.
