The Rath Rider of berk (Monster Hunter x Httyd)

Prologue

"C'mon Windshear, Katashi's at the north tower." Heather said riding Windshear to the north part of the island Dragon's edge was at.

"Oh there he is... Looks like Rathy is asleep." Heather said flying down to a sleeping Rathalos where a young man her age in a red scaled leather outfit with leather goggles on (think about the leather outfit in monster hunter but with Rathalos scales on it.) was resting on him watching the waters.

"Oh Heather, is my shift up?"

"Not really, I just came to join you. Hiccup and Astrid are out scouting, Fishleg is in Berk, and I refuse to stay between the Twins and Snotlout." Heather said sitting next to him sharpening her Axe.

"Why do you think I came here with Rathy? Plus I wanted to help Hiccup and Fishlegs update the book of dragons. I'm doing a chapter on the Rath species. I figured it was time I start writing everything I know about Rathy." Katashi said, showing Heather what he wrote.

"Wow this is awesome. You even did one on Razorwhips!"

"Yea right now we don't have a dragon eye so I thought I could write what I see and what I remember. Reading Fishlegs notes help."

"Speaking of remembering... Remember anything about your past?"

"Only when Hiccup saved me... And when I met Rathy..." Katashi said petting his still sleeping Rathalos.

"Care to tell me about it? We've only met a couple of times a couple years ago when we were all kids when that whole mess with dagger was fresh..." Heather said, going quiet for a bit.

"You ok?"

"Y-yea I'm fine... Anyways, tell me how you met Hiccup and the others?"

"I... I was drifting out in Sea one arm on my bow and the other holding onto a log... I don't know how long I've been out-"

Years prior to the Viggo events.

"Well Toothless I think we had enough of breakneck bog for one day." Hiccup said to his dragon as he responded with a happy growl.

"Well Bout time to... Hey you see that Bud?" Hiccup asked as the duo saw strange thunder clouds form looking over the Sea in front of them.

"Ok then maybe we can find shelter from that!" Hiccup suggested, with Toothless giving a low growl in agreement as they flew to an island of stone with perfect protection from the storm around them.

The Storm itself was quite mysterious by the looks of things. The point of origin was at the center of the archipelago, expanding its reach through purple clouds spewing out red to yellow lighting as it grew larger and larger, looming a dark shadow over Berk, Outcast island, Berserker island and many more. The wind became so strong it made whirlpools in the water later lifting them up in a water encompassed tornado sinking small islands, disorienting multiple sea dragons in its wake. Sharing the sky's uproar, multiple dragon-like figures flew unaffected by the storm; one in particular made a powerful roar as it flew towards Berk disappearing in its clouds. In the raging waters below the storm was a broken tree not native to any of the plant life found in the archipelago, on the broken tree was a young boy in worn out cloth clothing fighting the waves trying to stay afloat with a heavy Metal bow and arrows on his back.

After a few hours the storm had finally let up with clear blue skies and a nice breeze dragon's love to fly in, much like how Hiccup and Toothless took advantage of it to return home.

"Ok Toothless, let's get home before we worry about the others... Yea I see it too. C'mon toothless." Hiccup said responding to Toothless's insight when they saw a mysterious figure in the water.
