You all sat around the table eating your special from the pizza place. Luckily Rick had calmed down but was staring at you so you made sure to sit opposite him, Morty next to Rick and Jerry next to you.

You had a wobbly smile on your face, trying to look away from Rick's gaze. It made you laugh.

"What" you asked
Rick just sat, and took a bite out if his pizza slice. You inverted your lips, suppressing a smile. For some odd reason you found the situation hilarious, Rick thinking any boy would go down on you was hilarious and quite flattering- and creepy... but still.

He'd never paid any attention to the gloomy kid who poked at her food and stay in her bedroom every day. Even when they were all in wacky adventures.

It felt nice being included for once.

"So kids, how was school?" Jerry asked, wanting to break the silence and hopefully Rick's gaze. He failed but Morty and you began talking about a maths test you had coming up.

"Y-yeah, y/n said she'd help, help me study for it. So-so-so Rick I need to be in class" Rick just grunted, rolling his eyes. He couldn't be bothered to stare at you anymore and actually ate his food.

You finished and got up from the table, "Thanks for the food"
"You're welcome Y/n" Jerry stared at the other two who were now also getting up, waiting for a thank you.
"Thanks dad"

Jerry nodded satisfied, but again stared at Rick, Rock grabbed his coat and flask, taking a drink before his eyes met Jerry's. "W-what do you want?"

"A thank you cant be that hard Rick!"

"Whuurrpat? Whatever, thanks Jerry for getting us stuck in a tv. Speaking of, I'm going to go watch" And with that, Rick left. Ge grabbed a bottle or five though before heading to the couch.

"Thanks Jerry, do you need any help?" You offered, Jerry just shook his head.
"Nah, you kids just go gave fun"

You nodded and followed Morty to the living room where Rick was sat on his ass watching interdimentional television about some sort of purple hippo-mush thing dressed as a cop solving crimes. It reminded you of a show called Brooklyn nine nine that the two of you enjoyed so you sat besides him. Well Morty sat besides him, you safe at the other end.

-

"Night Morty!" You yelled down the hall, entering your bedroom for the night.

You closed the door and the light faded away with it, the room was dark now, shadows hiding away in the corners.

You swamped over to your bed, stepping over clothes left on the floor, art, posters, and other bits and Bob's until you made it to your bed. You flopped onto the centre and watched the now black ceiling above you. A sigh escaped your lips as 6ou moved an arm over under your pillow and head, you were above the covers and had one leg up whilst the other was laying down.

"That was... better" you said aloud to yourself, it had been a while since you've hung out with anyone in the family really. And you missed them. Rick wasn't all bad, it made you smile thinking about him thinking a guy was gonna bang you.

Maybe he wasn't all bad...

You began to doze off and give into the night.

-

You mumbled and groaned as you felt someone shaking you slightly, "mmm" you mumbled. You hadn't opened your eyes, just moved around a bit trying to get comfortable to sleep again. But in the Smith's house, you soon realised getting involved with Rick meant no more sleep.

You were dragged out of bed and thrown on his shoulders, you began yelling but once you noticed it was Rick you just started hitting. He continued walking to Mortys room, completely unfazed at your efforts.
