i giggled as niki twirled around, splashing the ocean water all over the dock and me.
"wow, we haven't met for even 10 minutes yet and you're already flirting with me." i sarcastically scoff and scoot back from the edge, leaving niki more room.
"mhm~! my speciality."
niki twirls her wavy pink hair as she pushes herself onto the dock, leaving her tail in the water.
"interesting, didn't know mermaids were into that kinda stuff."
niki just rolls her eyes before going silent.
"puffy..?"
"yeah??"
"don't you have a ship to get back to? what are you doing out here, with me,,?"
oh yeah. i completely forgot. my ship is stuck here, and my crew is back at home.
"well, er... you see-"
niki sighs, "its alright, you don't have to tell me. i was being nosy,,"
"no, no! you asked, you shall receive an answer.
my ship is pretty much stuck here. and my crew isn't here with me at the moment,,"
niki gasps, "oh! i'm so sorry, i wish i could help you. you did make me feel joy, after all. you deserve something in return!"
"no, really, it's fine. being in your presence makes me feel better,,"
