Chapter 2

My heart was racing as the man in the blue mask walked towards me locking eye contact and not letting go.

"Hi princess" the one in the red said while smirking at me.

"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME" I screamed my voice was trembling but I stood my ground waving the knife in front of me as a threat. "ILL STAB YOU!"

My hand shakily pointed the knife in their direction.

"I don't think that's a good idea sweetheart" the guy in the red said.

I gave him a death stare from under the sofa as hard as I could to make sure he knew I wasn't playing around. He stared back down at me his eyes showing no sympathy for me at all.

"Now we can do this the hard way or the easy way baby what's it gonna be?" The guy in the blue asked.

"FUCK OFF" I screamed pushing myself further back into back corner of the sofa.

The two men looked at each other for some time thinking of what to do. I tried to push myself back further but I couldn't. My feet were on the back wall.

"Call Adriano" The guy in the red finally decided.

The guy in the blue pulled out his phone and it rang for a few moments before someone answered.

"Hey boss we found the girl again she was exactly where you said she would be but only problem is she's refusing. Whats our next move?" The two men looked down at me while waiting for a response.

I could hear a faint voice on the other end of the phone.

"Okay I'll try one more time then I'll let you have a go. Stay on line"
The guy in the blue replied back.

He sighed and then passed the phone to the guy in the red

"hold" he demanded.

"Hey" he said while taking a few steps towards me then crouching down. "We need you to come out and we need to take you somewhere please." He tried to stay calm while speaking to me in a softish voice.

"IM NOT GOING ANYWHERE GET OUT MY HOUSE NOW" I snapped while pushing the knife closer.

He rolled his eyes.

He looked at the one in the red and signalled for him to come closer.

The guy in the red did so and then said into the phone "she's not budging boss your gonna have to talk to her" he sighed and rolled his eyes.

He's more dramatic than me I thought to myself still keeping an eye on the other guy for any movement towards me.

I was tempted to snap at them asking who wanted to talk to me and who they were but I decided to keep my mouth shut.

The guy in the blue clicked his fingers grabbing my attention while the guy in the red pressed speaker on the phone "you've got her attention boss"

I pushed myself forwards a little so I could hear the phone more but made sure I was still a safe distance.

"Thank you Liam" the mysterious man said from the other side of the phone.

His voice was deeper that the two idiots I was stuck with he stated to speak to me.

"Now listen to me. no more hide and seek your going to behave and let them tie you up and carry you to my Audi with no bother and your going to come and see me. Stop being so disobedient or you'll have me to deal with later. Got it?"

"Uh boss we actually got the bmw not the Audi because someone had it and I couldn't find the keys to the Ferrari or Lamborghini" the guy in the blue interrupted.

I scoffed bringing the attention of both men to me.

'Liam' hung up the phone.

"You heard the man. You gonna behave?" He asked

"NO" I yelled god why don't these guy understand no means no.

The one in the red sighed and grabbed my arm, dragging me out by one hand. He was really strong although I tried to put up a fight he was stronger by a long way. He pinned me to the floor while the one in the blue grabbed the knife from me and threw it to the other side of the room making it attach to the wall just above my calendar.

What a shot I thought.

Next thing I know I'm tied up but I started to shout and scream. Blu was barking and got the kitchen door open, he ran towards the men.

"WOAH SHIT DOG AT 10 O'CLOCK" 'Liam' yelled to the guy in the red.

"Take the Girl I'll get the dog" he replied pulling a gun from his pocket.

"DON'T YOU DARE HURT HIM! KEEP OFF HIM...BLU!" I yelled trying to kick at the guy dragging me out the door.

He pulled me into his chest and put one hand over my eyes and the other around my waist. I was still crying and shouting at him not to hurt my dog.

He smelled like strong cologne and each time he shushed me I could smell the mint of his breath.

*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*

Blu was gone.

"Bit 'arsh don't you think?" The guy in the blue said to the guy in the red.

"It's only a dog" he replied

"HE WAS MY BEST PAL" I screamed through my tears.

I cried and cried way more I was so upset I didn't dare to look up at his body and the guy didn't let me he still had his hand pressed on my face next to my eyes refusing to let me go. He picked me up onto his shoulder and carried me out to the car.

I was numb and empty my best friend of 4 years was gone. I loved him so much and then he's gone. I put up one final fight before he put me in the car.

"GET OFF ME STOP IT. STOP IT." I screamed.
"Shhhh" the guy in the red said before holding a cloth over my mouth and nose. Within moments I blacked out.
