Adriano

Chapter 12

I followed the men back into the building. We made our way towards the door but I stopped when a woman caught my attention.

She had a beautiful light pink dress on with her long ginger hair tied up into a ponytail.

"Come on lexo Adriano wants you" Liam called.

I looked forwards to see all three men waiting for me by the door. 

Lexo. Seriously? I thought.

I looked back towards the girl and she looked at me.

I smiled to her but she didn't smile back.

Well that was Rude. I thought to myself.

Diesel walked towards me quickly and grabbed my arm.

"Fucking move!" He pulled me forwards to the other 2 men.

"Fuck is your problem!" I tried to get him off me.

"Don't you dare start" Liam warned me.

I rolled my eyes at them.

"I'll go tell Adriano she's outside" Casi said before walking through the door.

I got a small glance of people sat round a table.

"I though I was just meeting his brother?" I asked Liam in a panicked tone.

"Yeah you are but other powerful people are there too." He replied.

"That's why Adriano is in there, Powerful man." Diesel jumped in.

Before we knew it casi opened the door.

"He's ready" he smiled.

"Come on then" Diesel tilted his head to the door that Casi was stood holding.

I felt like breaking down and crying. I felt nervous and like my stomach had just had all the insides pulled out and shoved back in. My throat became dry and a knot formed in the back of my throat. I tried to swallow it away but it just seemed to feel bigger.

"Move it" Diesel ordered.

Liam pushed me forwards.

Diesel entered the room following Casi.

My hands were shaking and my legs felt like they were about to give in on me.

I took baby steps then stood still as Liam slightly brushed past me and sat next to Diesel who was on the left side of Adriano. I noticed an empty seat next to Adriano on the right and next to that seat was casi.

Guess that's where they want me to sit I thought.

I saw the other men sat round the large table.
They were all very intimidating.

Adriano looked towards me when the men sat down I could see he was chewing, gum I assumed.

He curled two fingers back and forth as a signal for me to approach him not breaking conversation with one of the men.

There was about 12 people sat round the table.

I tried to gulp the knot from my throat again.

Act brave. I thought.

I took a deep breath in, held it for a moment then slowly exhaled.

I straightened my back and lifted my head up high.

I walked towards him acting bold. Keeping my eyes on him not breaking eye contact to look at the other men once.

He smiled slightly as he caught on what I was doing.
