Overdoing it

"Five, six, seven, eight!"

Minho once again leads the choreography carefully. Every move of his is on point, while his eyes go from Hyunjin to Felix, checking if they're doing anything wrong. They're pretty much flawless, for the most part. But as the beat drops and a more complicated part of their choreo comes up, Felix loses the tempo and messes up the steps. It makes Minho stop.

"Yongbok-ah," he says, looking at the younger through the mirror. "You keep getting this wrong. If you don't understand it, tell me so I can explain it to you more."

"No, no, hyung, I get it," Felix says, looking down. "It's just... it's... it's too fast!"

Both Minho and Hyunjin are surprised at the sudden outburst of anger from the omega. Felix crouches down and puts his hands on his neck, hiding his face in his arms. Hyunjin sits down next to him, while Minho goes to pause the music.

"It's alright," Hyunjin tells Felix, putting a hand on his back and gently rubbing it. "We get it, it's a hard part. It's not weird that you get this wrong."

"But I'm not getting any better either," Felix says.

"That's not true," Hyunjin tells him and looks up at Minho, who nods.

"Hyunjin is right. Felix, your dance is on point. We just need to work on this specific part a little more and it'll be perfect."

Felix looks up at his friends. He's not convinced, but he nods. Minho extends a hand to him, helping him stand up.

"Oh, my baby," the older says as he hugs him. "It's okay. We'll make it."

Felix gives a little nod, enjoying the beta's familiar scent and body warmth. They pull away slowly and Minho leans down a little to check Felix's face.

"You alright? Want to continue?"

"Yes, yes, I'm fine," Felix tells him with a nod.

"Okay."

Hyunjin gives one last pat on Felix's back, before they get in position again.

"How about we work on the steps a little slower first?" Minho asks, his eyes mostly on Felix.

Both omegas nod behind him and he gives them a smile.

"Okay, let's go with... one... two... three..." Minho starts counting and follows the moves of the choreography in a slower tempo.

Hyunjin and Felix follow him. With the rhythm Minho has given them, when they reach the hardest part, Felix has no trouble repeating the older's movements. He moves at the same time as the other two, he doesn't miss even one step, his legs don't get all confused and tangled up.

"Great, great," Minho says when they're done. "Now, we'll slowly pick up the pace and then I'll put on the song again. Sounds good?"

He once again receives a nod from the other two. They spend quite some time repeating that part in the choreo again and again, each time the tempo becoming just a little bit faster. Again, Felix has no trouble with it. He's right on point. And when they finally reach the song's tempo and he doesn't get confused, Minho grins at him.

"Alright!" the beta says excitedly. "We've got this. Let's do it!"

Hyunjin and Felix take a moment to catch their breaths, while Minho goes to start the song again.

"We'll do it from the beginning," he tells them, running back to his position.

The song starts playing and the three of them follow the melody and rhythm with no problem. During the choreo, Hyunjin lets out excited shouts, trying to hype up the other two.
