Wang Weixiao was thinking very carefully about something. she looked totally focused. when Lan Xingchen saw her he said in a very polite way, " lady Wang, don't worry about this anymore. just go to the restroom and take a nap for some time. let me handle the case furthermore." after hearing this Wang Weixiao immediately got up and replied, " No no!, I am really enjoying it. I ....i mean I really want to solve this case brother." she smiled ,greeted Lan Xingchen and the royal doctor and went outside to have some fresh air of the nature.

Weixiao was feeling the nature and was enjoying it. someone from behind said, "You?" Wang Weixiao turned back to see that who on earth was shouting this harsh. when she turned back, she saw it was Lan Mingyu. she got scared.

" well, it always depends on the crime he/she committed." replied Lan Xingchen. she nodded as she understood well. they were going to the prisoner whom they caught in the jungle. suddenly someone came, greeted the both of them and said," Childe Lan, the prisoner is... dead." after hearing this they were so shocked because when they caught him, he was totally fine and healthy.

they looked at each other and ran to see the matter. when they arrived there, they saw that the prisoner was already dead. After a while the royal forensic pathologist told that the cause of his death was a deadly poison. Lan Xingchen understood everything. "we're fooled." Lan Xingchen said. Weixiao looked at him and asked, "what?" Xingchen replied," he was poisoned, so that he won't be telling us anything." Weixiao was confused. she was not satisfied yet. she asked," but gege, he was with us all the way here. how did he get poisoned?" this question made Lan Xingchen confused too. after thinking for a while, he replied, "may be because he was poisoned since we caught him." suddenly Lan Xingchen felt his head really heavy. he said," doctor...doc..." and he fainted all of sudden.
After sometime Lan Xingchen woke up. he saw the royal doctor checking his nerves. he asked," royal doctor! what happened to me?" he saw the clan leader sitting beside him. he fastly got up and greeted him. "Xingchen! no need for this formality. just rest." said Lan Chenxiang (clan leader). the doctor told, "childe Lan, you were poisoned." this made everyone shocked.
