CHAPTER-8

Everyone was shocked as Lan Xingchen appeared suddenly. they all knelt down and started bowing him. the old man also got shocked. he knelt down and started bowing him. he asked for sorry." Childe Lan, I'm sorry. I'm just an old man. hope you'll forgive me." Lan Xingchen asked him to rise, "why are you all bowing stand up!"

Lan Xingchen's character*

He saw the kid and Wang Weixiao greeting him. he asked," Are you both fine?" they both nodded. Lan Xingchen asked," sister Wang, what happened here?" Wang Weixiao looked at the old man and then looked at Lan Xingchen. she replied," I would be honest here. sorry old uncle. Lan gege! this old man was bullying the innocent." Lan Xingchen looked at the old man. he said, "Old master, why did you do that? I don't have to tell you that bullying innocents is a bad thing." the old man looked frightened. he replied, "Childe Lan, I will not disappoint you again." he greeted him. Lan Xingchen asked him to rise up. everyone around them who were looking at them, Lan Xingchen told them to go to their works.

IN WEIXIAO'S ROOM-

Wang Weixiao's character*

The kid's name was 'Wang Lei.' he was crying because the old man scared him. he was an orphan just like Wang Weixiao so she could feel him. Wang Weixiao tried to pamper him. Lan Xingchen was also there. he said, "Wang Lei, let me tell you a story." both Weixiao and the kid looked at him. he continued," there was a rabbit in a jungle, all the tigers ate every single animal living there. the tigers still couldn't find the only rabbit left in the jungle. because he kept running and one day he finally escaped. they will always try to eat you alive. all you need to do is escape. just never give up." After hearing this Wang Lei looked less scared. Lan Xingchen asked him to smile. so he smiled. he was feeling much more better than before.

Lan Xingchen said," Go and play outside." Wang Lei was happy so he went outside to play. Wang Weixiao asked," Lan gege, you said him to always run and escape but instead of running ,shouldn't we face them? even if the rabbit ran away, the tigers will still be there, and if anybody comes they will eat them too." Lan Xingchen smiled and replied," can a rabbit fight tigers? if you want to kill the evil. you should come back with a team. and for that first you must run and escape." he then asked," Lady Wang, if you allow then I can take this kid with me." Wang Weixiao looked at him. while smiling she asked," why are you asking me?" Lan Xingchen replied," of course I have to ask you, because you're the Wang clan leader." Weixiao laughed," clan leader?" she was laughing so loudly. Lan Xingchen couldn't understand. "Never mind" Wang Weixiao stopped laughing and said," Lan gege, since he is my responsibility then I should take care of him. he will live with me from now on." she smiled and stood up. she saw the kid playing outside. she was so happy because she was going to give a kid his new and happy life.

NEXT DAY-

Wang Weixiao's character*

The sun was shining well. the birds were chirping but Wang Lei was still sleeping. Wang Weixiao was preparing breakfast for him. she was cooking some vegetable soup. she saw that Wang Lei was still sleeping. she said, "Hey kid, wake up now, eat your breakfast." but Wang Lei still didn't wake up. he kept saying," just little more." Wang Weixiao wanted him to wake up and eat his breakfast as soon as possible. because she had to go on her work. she couldn't find any way to wake him up. then she got an idea. she said," Lei, I'm going." when the kid heard this he immediately got up to make sure she didn't leave. he ran towards Wang Weixiao and hugged her tightly. 

he started crying. Wang Weixiao was shocked because she just wanted to wake him up from the bed not to make him cry. she asked," Eh! kid, why are you crying? I didn't do anything yet." Lei was scared that she would leave him alone. as because he had no one with him left. he was so scared of living alone. he thought that just like his parents, she would also leave him. he said," Don't leave me like mom-dad!" Wang Weixiao was shocked. she sat down and held him with his shoulders gently and asked," Lei, what happened to your parents?" Wang Lei replied, "One day Lan people called my mother and father. mom told me that they would come back soon. I'm still waiting but they are not coming." Wang Weixiao understood everything. "They must have had done something against them how come I don't know? do these people even treat me as a clan leader that they tell me nothing? lol" she thought. she saw Wang Lei being sad as because he was only 7-8 years old boy so it's obvious for him to miss his parents. he hugged her tightly and asked, "you won't leave me. right?" Wang Weixiao hugged him back and replied, "no! never!" the kid was happy after hearing this. Wang Weixiao thought, "I thought he was orphan since his childhood unlike me, but turns out he is just like me who lost his family after loving them for long. ah!"

Many days passed and they both were living like elder sister and younger brother. they both played and worked together. whenever Wang Weixiao was on work, it was difficult to leave Lei alone at home so she took him with her every day. so that he won't be lonely at home. now, whenever any other kid from Wang clan bullies him, he could always just say that he is Wang clan leader's brother. after saying that everyone around him would respect him. he was so happy.
