This section is to subjest points for praying and I selected a text for the Old Testament to start but I know there´s a model of praying in the New Testament. At the end of this word is the point for praying.
2 Chronicles 7.14
If my people which are called by my name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, Then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Some days ago I met a person at the street and told me: If people from the world turn from their sin, the earth will be healed from the pandemic.
When I was at home the word full my whole being: It is not the world people but my people and 2 chronicles 7.14 came to my mind. This verse is repeated and reapeted even by heart among his people but there is not humiliation.
Let´s look to the verse before
13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people.
It is a conditional (IF) the word is very clear
If(God)
shut up heaven(no rain)
send locusts(to devour the land)
send pestilence
If there is (2 chronicle 7.14)
Humiliation
Praying
Seek of God presence
Turn from wicked ways
Then He (God) will
Hear
Forgive
Heal our land
And I finish with verse 15 now mine eyes shall be open, and my ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place.
Pray for: Healing of the land or nations.
