Prologue

3rd person POV

"Mae no how could you do this" gulf asked his mother crying

"Ugh stop calling me Mae your nothing to me anyways your sister doesn't want to marry a ugly devil so we gave you up"

"No you can't do this"

"But I can let go of me peasant" his mother said

(A/N no I don't have a vendetta against women or a mother, it just fits right for the story)

"Pa please don't send me away" gulf cried and his father picked him up carrying him outside

"Son im doing this for your own good" he said smiling sadly

"Honey what are you doing with that bastard"

"Shut up my son is no bastard" his father responded glaring at the woman who just came out

"Hon-"

"Stop calling me that" he yelled and grabbed onto his son's hand taking him to there secret spot

"You go live a great life over there" his father said

"But what about you" gulf asked his father sniffing and wiping his nose

He had no problem with the arranged marriage it's just leaving his father alone with those witches

He knew who he was marrying but gulf had a heart which had no hate in it what's so ever he never judged a book by its cover and he knew this devil man was something more than that

"I will be fine son been dealing with this for 8 years" he said sadly

He had an arranged marriage with gulfs mother and was forced to have sex with her to produce children but gulf doesn't know that he thought they were in love

"Pa I don't wanna" gulf shook his head

"For me na please" he father begged and gulf finally gave in

"Let's go pack" he father said smiling

They went back and gulf heard some harsh words from his mother and sister while he and his father packed his things

"I will visit you when I can" his father kissed his forehead

"Don't come back" his sister said but gulf just smiled at them

He knew they could change but he also knew he wouldn't be the one to change them

"Bye sis bye Mae bye pa" he said before he stepped on the step and got in the carriage

He moved the fabric to the side and waved at his father who waved back smiling with teary eyes

"You can do this gulf" he said to himself

| 30 Minutes Later |

"Up this way general"

"General" gulf asked the man

"Yes we call you general here general" he said bowing

"Uh ok" gulf said about to get his luggage when someone stopped him

"Uh hi I need to get my things so can you like step to the right" gulf smiled awkwardly

"I'm sorry I can't let you get that I will do it general" he said grabbing the bags walking off
