"Sooo tell me about this mysterious guy that your meeting" Jewels smirked shoving some orange chicken into her mouth.I just rolled my eyes and sipped my Sprite,my nostrils burning as the little bubbles went down my throat.

"There's not much to tell his name is Sage and he works at the footlocker,Jewel you met him remember" I nodded my head in a mocking manor.

"Don't talk to me like I'm stupid" She laughed "But how's the new phone ,it looks huge" She exclaimed picking up my new gold iPhone 6 plus that she'd bought me,I insisted on paying for it or at least paying her back but she simply shut me down.

I just laughed and looked down at my untouched Panda Express.My head was swarming with thoughts and I'd zoned out.

"Ali,wassup you haven't touched your food" I snapped out of my daze, giving Jewels a sly smile and popped a piece of teriyaki chicken in my mouth not really focusing on the food but really just the process of chewing and swallowing.The food on my tongue tasted bland,even though I knew it was just me I still pushed the container away shaking my head.

"Jewels have you ever felt like your missing something in your life but you just don't know what it is?" I asked not really looking at her but sounding as if I was convincing myself instead of her.

"Ali....I think you miss Chris" As soon as his name left her mouth I looked up and shook my head.

"He-he hu-gco"

"Hey sorry I'm late I had to talk to my boss" Sage came up to our table pulling himself up a chair and sitting in it.

I gave him a weak smile trying hard not to look into his eyes.

"Um...Hi my name is Jewels but you can call me Jewel" She held her hand out for him to shake.

"I'm sage,nice to meet you Jewel"

I shook my head sighing
She's right I do miss him....

"Look man have you seen this girl!" I yelled at ole dude,I didn't mean to but I've been asking this guy the same question for 11minutes but every time he just replies with a "What!?" At first I thought he was playing with my emotions but now I'm really starting to think he can't hear.

"Sir never mind." I said in a calm voice

"What? You said you wanna smack my behind." I gave up and just walked away.

I got into Miami about two hours ago and so far I've been searching the beach I left her at.I knew it was a long run but It could be possible that she's still here.The only thing I've been doing  is holding up a picture of Ali and asking if they'd seen her,so far no luck.

I felt horrible how could I let something so precious slip through my hands.I wanted her,I had her and I just gave up like it wasn't even important to me.I wouldn't blame her if she was furious with me shit in mad at myself.Ive noticed that I do a lot of doing before actually thinking of the consequences of my actions.

Giving up completely I just went back to my rental Lamborghini and hoped in sitting on the hot seat sighing as my head went back and my eyes closed.I was so frustrated I coul-

I was cut off by my phone ringing.Hoping it was Aleeyah I hurriedly reached over and grabbed it swiping the answer bar without actually looking at the caller I.D.

"Hello"

"Ay Chris Me n Nic in Miami and we found Ali for ya,But we know ya in Cali so we juh gon try ta bring her home." August Nola accent said into my ear.

Disappointed I replied the frown apparent in my voice.

"Nah bruh I'm in Miami to where y'all at imma slide through."

"Vixen Mall."

And with that I hung up,but that's when what he'd said sunk in.They found Ali! They found my baby.

I was so excited that I quickly started up my car and instantly drove off while trying to put on my seatbelt at the same time.

"Chyna baby Please pick up or at least come home.Me and king worried about you."
I left my 50th voicemail on her phone.Its been 4 hours since she stormed out and Chyna's mom just brought king back 1 hour ago.She said she'd stay or take king back for a little while,but I declined and insisted on keeping King.

"Daddy where's mommy." I looked down at my son who was now wearing his Superman pajamas and carrying a peppermint candy cane in his probably sticky hand.

"I don't know,But who told you to open up a candy cane King you supposed to be going to sleep in a few." I glanced at my watch irritated.

"I haven't eaten yet I'm hungry." He pouted his lip trembling as if he was about to cry.I sighed and stooped to his level kneeling so I was close enough to him.

"I'm sorry King I didn't mean to yell I just miss mommy that's all,but hey maybe we can have pizza for dinner how bout that." I asked trying to raise his sprits I hate to see my son cry it breaks my heart.

"Ohhhhhh and can we make Dinosaur cookies and get Sprite soda." I nodded as his smile widen with each world he said.

"Okay you go watch tv while I call in the pizza and make the cookies,you want the usual right?"

He nodded and ran off to the living room,lord knows I love that boy....
