Chapter 10 : Cursed

Still in the memories.....

Nyx's Pov:

I was surrounded with nothing but darkness and it seemed like I was floating.
Then in a second it became as if I was being submerged into a very dense and thick liquid.
So thick it felt suffocating.

I tried to wiggle but couldn't.

And then again I felt as if I was being pulled out of it and put back into the air.

The cold sensation ran all over my body and I slowly squinted my eyes. Total darkness , nothing, endless nothing.

Suddenly there,  far away a bright sparkling light seem to shine so bright it hurt my eyes.

Reddish orange in colour. It was calling me and I felt being dragged to it.

When I got control over my body , I put my hand over my eyes and slowly walked , floated , to it.

The light grew darker and colourful and soon my eyes fully opened as the hazy scene started clearing but it still nothing was visible. It was still a mess of colours and vision.

It broke something in me making me inhaling sharply and I slowly opened my eyes to see the castle in front of me and it was still dark.

The night hadn't died and there was a deadly silence that surrounded the atmosphere. My back was sore and my body was paining as if a reckless stampede of bulls ran over me. My throat was scratchy and I felt thirsty.

My body felt numb and there was this stinging sensation in my stomach. I looked down to see a sword impaling me and kept me hanging against the tree.

I gasped and whimpered in the unexisting pain that I didn't notice earlier.

As horrified as I was , gulping bravely I tried to take it out without causing me pain but when I took it out slowly , I surprisingly felt no pain ,nothing at all.

I heard groaning sounds and I looked around to see Nora and Nick waking up.

I immediately pulled the sword completely and fell down beside them. I crawled to them and immediately cradled them to my chest.

I hugged them tightly and cried silently.

"I thought I lost you both."

" But aren't we supposed to be dead ?
I remember passing out and blood gushing out of my head." Nora experated asked.

" I have no idea what the hell happened!"I whispered.

There was this weird aroma in air that seem to drive us towards it. And it made me thirsty and hungry at the same time.

Nick stared into his hands and then at us . He seem to remember something and his face contorted into one of confusion and then if horror.

"Oh no! " Nick gasped ,horrified by something making both of us frown in confusion.

"What?" Nora and I asked at the same time.

" No wonder, the demon wasn't a captive demon they are far to weak to even kill a normal witch yet kill someone like our father and mother. Shit!"he said and we frowned.

He slapped a hand to his forehead.
" What is it Nick , be clear." I said rubbing his back.

"He was a high lord demon that means he was summoned. And as much I studied the demon kind those kind of demons have the power to curse someone with evil and sinister things."his expression was grave serious.
