"Are you sure this is the way?" Francis said slowing down in front of a gravel driveway leading through a Bunch of trees

"It's my house. I know vhere it is."

Francis nodded not convinced and turned into the drive. He drove for a while before finally arriving at a mansion.

"Danke." You said pulling the car door open. "Vait." Gilbert said before you closed the door. You looked at him and waited. "Vhat's your number? Ya know, I case you need my awesomeness or something."

You sighed and said your number, Francis pulling out his phone and putting it into his as well. When you looked at him he just shrugged and put his phone into his pocket. You rolled your eyes.

"See ya then. I guess." You said. "Ja." Gilbert agreed before you closed the door and ran up to your house.

When you got in you looked back outside to see their fancy red sedan finally loosing sight in the trees. When you turned back around your mother was there standing with a man you had wished to never see again.

"Mutter (Mother). Vhy is He here?" You asked hissing at the man. "That is no way to speak to your Vater! (Father) " The man spoke.

"Be nice to your Vater, Julchen." Mother whispered. She always got quiet when he was around. Damn him.

"I zon't care, ja. Vhy za fuck is he here?" You asked again no longer caring about being proper, not that you were acting so before.

"I'm taking you back home." He said.

Your eye twitched.

"Vhat did you just say?" You asked in a quieter voice than you just spoke in.

"You're coming to live vith me in Austria. Now." He said taking your arm and dragging it out the door.

"Nein! I vill not go vith you! You left us once and for all. Vhy are you back?" You asked pulling your arm from him right outside the house.

"Can't a father see his daughter?" He asked with a sense of sincerity. You looked at him for a minute seeing if he was going to make a move. He didn't.

"You aren't my father." You said to the man who left your mother and you alone 3 years ago. He had been a liar and a traitor and you were not going to let him appear after so long and have everything be alright.

You ran back into the house, ran up the stairs, ignoring your parents calls for you to wait and "want to talk" and slammed the door closed to your room.

After locking your door and pushing your dresser in front of the door just in case, you grabbed a bag out of your closet and stuffed it with clothes and other things you couldn' t part with. You dressed in your venturing clothes which consisted of an army jacket your uncle had gave you, an old looking shirt, black shorts, a silver and black cross your uncle also gave you, combat boots, and a hat that you had found in the 'forbidden' room.

Thinking of the forbidden you decided it was probably a good idea to go In there one last time before you left.

After an hour of dead silence in the house you assumed it was a good time to go up to the room. Pushing the dresser away from the door you sneaked out and crossed the hallway to a picture frame. You lifted it up and the door became visible. You slid in and pushed the door closed behind you slowly walking up the hidden stairs that led to the room.

It was dark, but you were able to feel your way around. At the top of the stairs you lifted your right hand up to turn the light on. It slowly flickered on and illuminated the small room.

It was a small Victorian style room with a vanity, a bookshelf and dozens of boxes packed into the small space.

You dug around in some of the boxes finding a book titled "The Great Julchen Beilschmidt of Prussia". You looked at it confused for a second and set it down. You rummaged through the box for some sort of key that would open the lock that bound the book closed. You found one and slipped it into the keyhole. It opened and you slowly opened the book.

The first words caused you to grow wide eyed and horrified.

What kind if book was this?
