Haru is kind but a bit shy and quiet when meeting new people. He used to be mostly by himself reading lots of books about Pokémon. But when he met Yuki who helps out Haru, he started to become more comfortable around new people social. Every since Haru met Yuki, they became Best Friends. But he also has a strong sense of responsibility in the duo. Haru wears a hair tie accessory on his hair that used to belonged to his father who died a long time ago before Haru was born. Haru also likes the winter and always feels like he's never cold at all, he even likes to eat cool foods like shaved ice in the cold too. But despite Haru's shy and quiet nature, he gets very excited when meeting a new Pokémon, always thinking that they are cute, no matter how weird or ugly the Pokémon looks, he always calls it cute. Haru also wears a scarf that Yuki gave to him as a sign of their friendship.
