Chapter 2

The boys quickly got back to Tubbos house and Tubbo rushed off telling Tommy to call Wilbur at least, so someone would know where he was.
Tommy scowled at the floor before heading to tubbos guest room to make the call. He knew that he needed to tell Wilbur and his other friends that he was going to camp, but he was still not sure how to do it.
But the attack had forced the deadline on him, and he knew it was now or never. Tommy had not even had a chance to announce that he was taking a break.
Tommy sighed and texted Wilbur asking him to call. It only took a minute for his discord to start ringing, and he answered with a hello that sounded weak even to him.
Wilbur paused for a moment looking concerned but quickly recovered and asked Tommy how he was.
Tommy took a breath, still not sure what he was going to say and smiled weakly.
"Tommy what happened early while we were on call" Wilbur asked trying to sound soothing obviously thinking something was up.
Tommy gave a fake laugh and said "what do you mean big man, I told you there was a mishap with some fireworks."
Wilbur fixed Tommy with a fierce glare and said "Tommy I know for a fact your dad would have been and work please tell me the truth."
"Where even our you right now, it doesn't sound like you are at your computer." Wilbur said sounding even more confused than before.
Tommy was starting to get annoyed sense when did Wilbur know his dads work schedule. "Listen big man it was fireworks, I don't know what you want me to tell you. "
"The truth Tommy" Wilbur said sounding just as annoyed as Tommy.
Tommy sighed and said "this isn't why I called you, I actually had some news I wanted to tell you."
Wilbur looked liked he was going to say something else, so Tommy quickly continued on.
"Listen man I'm taking a break from the internet," Tommy said.
Wilbur paused, looking thrown. "Why are you taking a break" Wilbur asked sounding confused.
Tommy sighed and said "I'm going to camp with Tubbo."
"That's great man" Wilbur said sounding genuine "What camp are you going to? Maybe I have heard of it" Wilbur asked.
Tommy paused looking down, of course Wilbur asked the one question he did not want him to ask.
"You wouldn't know the place" Tommy said quickly, "but there's something else."
"What is it," Wilbur asked.
"I won't be able to call you while I am at camp,"
Tommy said.
"What why?" Wilbur asked, sounding alarmed. "There is no cell service where I am going,"Tommy said. 
"What kind of place doesn't have cell service,"Wilbur muttered under his breath.
"How long will you be gone," Wilbur asked.
"The entire summer" Tommy replied looking down.
"The whole summer" wilbur said sounding slightly alarmed. "Why so long?"
"It's not that big of a deal, big man" Tommy said trying to convince himself to.
Wilbur sighed and said "I'll miss you man."Tommy smiled at him and said "thanks for being so understanding, big man. "
"Are you going to write me letters like it in the old days," Wilbur asked sarcastically? 
"Ha ha" Tommy said feeling relieved that Wilbur was not to mad at him.
"Well I have to tell Twitter big man" Tommy said smiling.
"Wait, when are you leaving I want to hang out with you as much as I can until I lose you for the summer" Wilbur said in a semi teasing tone. Tommy smiled sheepishly and said "today. "
Wilbur frowned and said "why so soon."
"I may have put off telling you" Tommy said looking a little sheepish.
"Are you going to tell Phil and techno," Wilbur asked?
"I really only needed to call you will, I will text the group chat for Phil and techno. "
"Has Tubbo told ranboo yet", Wilbur asked. "Yeah, Tommy, said, but I'm pretty sure ran boo is also planning on taking a break from the internet for a bit."
Tommy couldn't tell Wilbur that ranboo would be going to camp with them, it already seemed suspicious enough.
"Look will I have to go" Tommy said.
"Bye toms I'll miss you" Wilbur said sounding a little sad. 
Tommy quickly hung up, and then he texted Phil and techno individually telling them he was going to camp. They both responded, Phil telling him to have a good time. And techno with a thumbs up.
Tommy quickly sent out a tweet saying he was taking a mental health break, and with that he was ready.
Tommy flopped on the couch waiting for Tubbo to finish up what he was doing, so they could go. Tubbo came into the living room and said "I called ranboo, and he is making his way to camp."
Tommy pretended to roll his eyes but was glad that ranboo was going to be at camp with them. "How are you planning to get us there big t"
Tommy asked.
Tubbo shrugged and said "I figured we could iris message Nico for shadow travel."
Tommy shivered and said "I hate shadow traveling." 
Tubbo rolled his eyes and said "suck it up,we don't have time to buy plane tickets to New York."
They quickly sent out an iris message and got a sleepy looking Nico on the line. "Hey Nico"Tommy said trying to look innocent. 
Nico gave them a dead pan look and said "what do you two want, it better be important I'm on bed rest according to my doctor"
Tubbo smiled and said, well sense your doctor is your boyfriend I'm sure it wouldn't be a big deal for you to shadow travel us to camp." Tommy made sure to make puppy eyes and look innocent next to him.
Nico paused not expecting that and asked why sounding confused.
"We were attacked," Tommy quickly explained, "and we need to figure out what's going on."
"Why not get a plane ticket" Nico asked sounding bored again.
"Cause big man that would take to long" Tubbo said sounding desperate.
"Fine Nico agreed but you two owe me, especially if will finds out. I swear I will throw you two under the bus so hard.
Tubbo and Tommy quickly agreed, and before they knew if Nico was in front of them.
"Ready to go" he asked sounding a little smug at there awed faces.
"Of course, we are," Tommy said trying to sound more confident than he was feeling.
Nico gave them a sarcastic grin and said "hold on" and with that they were rushing into the darkness.
