🍓 Synopsis 🍓

Taehyung has astraphobia

Taehyung looked out of the window when he heard something hit the glass. A frown washed over his face when he saw the heavy rain pouring down.

Sighing, he decided to go to bed so that he could fall asleep before it starts thundering.

Once he entered his room that is shared with his dorm mate, jungkook, he set his phone down on the bedside table and locked the already closed windows then closed the curtains, hoping it would block out the sound.

He slipped under the sheets, plugging in his earphones through which soft music was playing, that would hopefully lull him into a sleep.

In times like these, there was always jungkook by his side. The boy would hold him close to his chest and sing a song with his angelic voice right into his ear as they slightly swayed. This is exactly what always calmed him down during thunder storms like these.

What were they? A lot of people asked that but they didn't know either. Whatever they were didn't have a name but neither wanted it to change so they just went with the flow.

A small smile appeared on taehyung's face at the thought of jungkook. The said male was currently with his friends in jimin's, his best friend, dorm that was just down the hall.

Taehyung did not want to call him back, as much as he wanted to, because he knew they have been hanging out together a lot lately and it's been a long time since jungkook met his friends and the elder male wanted give him some personal space.

He flinched when he heard a loud thunder, his breathing coming out faster now. Increasing the volume of the songs, he took a pillow and buried his face into it the faint smell of jungkook slightly calming him down.

Jungkook's leg bounced in nervousness as he kept glancing out of the window, listening to the sound of the pitter patter of the rain.

"what's wrong jungkook?"

Jimin asked, looking at his worried state.

"huh?"

Jungkook looked at him and shook his head with a small smile.

"it's nothing, let's continue"

Jimin nodded, still a little sceptical, but continued whatever they were doing nonetheless. The male sighed while fiddling with his fingers, the worry in him increasing along with the rain.

"I hope he's okay"

He mumbled to himself. All he could do was sit there and hope for taehyung to be okay, knowing how the male could have severe acrophobia attacks when he wasn't there with him.

It had gone upto the stage where he had fainted once too so jungkook tried to stay beside him as much as he could especially now since it was monsoon and  could rain at any time.

He got alarmed when he heard the loud crashing of a thunder and decided that he HAD to be there with taehyung, this little get together can happen another time too.
