The nerd confesses to the popular boy.

"you're staring again"

Jungkook just hummed, not minding what his friend just said, and continued staring at his crush, Kim Taehyung.

Taehyung was kind of the nerd of the school. He wore thin glasses, was always drowned in his books and had only one friend.

And jungkook was the popular boy. He was known for his delicate features and perfect body along with the sweetest personality.

Jungkook has been crushing on taehyung ever since the elder had step foot in the campus. He didn't know what particularly attracted him but he doesn't regret it. Maybe it was his hazel brown eyes or maybe his voice.

But one thing jungkook was sure about, which was he was deeply in love with the male and it wasn't just some petty crush which will fade away over time.

But who was gonna tell him that his feeling can be reciprocated?

"what is he so handsome for?"

Jungkook mumbled to himself with a pout, intently staring at a completely oblivious taehyung who was just reading his book in peace.

Jungkook sighed as the teacher entered the class, sad that he had to move his eyes away from his love.

Time skip

"look taehyung, man up and ask him out."

Yoongi, taehyung's best friend, said.

"but of course he wouldn't like a nerd like me!"

Taehyung humphed, unknown to the simping of jungkook from the other corner of the canteen, gushing over his adorable expression.

"just. Go. Confess"

Yoongi growled, annoyed.

"but-"

"shut up taehyung!"

Jimin, yoongi's boyfriend who was sitting there silently till now, spoke.

"you too?"

Taehyung gave him puppy eyes, getting a forehead flick in return.

"say one more word and I'll tear your book!"

Jimin threatened, snatching his book away. Taehyung's eyes widened as he frantically shook his head.

"okay! Okay I'll do it"

Taehyung huffed, slumping his shoulders. Jimin gave him a proud nod and pat on his back.

"that's like a good boy"

Taehyung rolled his eyes and stood up.

"okay, taehyung. You can do this"

Yoongi gave him his gummy smile.
