"but mom~"

The 16 year old girl whined but jungkook, her mom, was persistent.

"no, hae-won, I am not buying you another stuffie! You already have 50 of those at home"

"the more the merrier mom"

She whined while walking behind him as he strolled down the seasonings/sauces aisle. The male threw her a glance and rolled his eyes.

The girl huffed and stopped him from walking by Squeezing herself between the cart and her mother.

"pwease?"

"pwetty pwease"

Her puppy eyes glistened as her pout grew, an innocent aura surrounding her.
Jungkook huffed and pouted back at her, his doe eyes already having all the stars of the galaxy.

"what do I get in return?"

He narrowed his eyes, moving slightly closer to her face. Haewon's face lit up as she thought for a while, looking back at him with a smile after a while.

"I'll do all the house chores for a week!"

Jungkook chuckled, knowing that wasn't possible cuz she hardly knew how to make her own bed but decided to give in since he isn't like other parents.

He just wanted to show his daughter that she won't get everything she wants in the snap of a finger and that he isn't a parent that will agree easily.

"okay, you can have it"

Haewon squealed and kissed his cheek, running towards where she left the stuffie.

This was jeon jungkook's life. He was a single parent of his precious daughter, hae-won. The girl was sixteen and the perfect definition of her name, beautiful and elegant.

They both were very close to each other, almost like friends, considering jungkook and his late boyfriend having her at the mere ago of 14 and 15 respectively. She shared all her secrets with her mom and jungkook always listened to her and helped her through any problems.

Her dad had passed away in an accident when she was just a months old baby and ever since then, jungkook hadn't had any other man in his life.

He earnt a good amount of money, enough for them to have a 3bhk house and three meals a day. The girl studied in one of the best schools while she had all the necessities she needed like a phone, laptop, tablet, etc.

And even after all these expenses, jungkook still had money that would be enough for three so he would spoil her a little at the end of the month like going on little dinner dates or maybe a shopping spree, all the rest of the leftover goes into his savings.

So the girl was living the perfect life. Of course, she didn't have a father and would occasionally crave for the fatherly love, but she understood her mother's situation and kept quiet. She knew that when the time comes, she will get a father.

"got it!"

Haewon beamed and run upto jungkook who smiled at her.

"Kay, let's go?"

Harwon nodded and wrapped am arm around jungkook's neck since he was slightly shorter than her.

They payed for everything and went back home. Once they were home, the girl ran into her room, jungkook giving her privacy since she was a teenager now.
