Chapter 3

"Please, don't talk about it." Chris says with a sigh and hands on his face.

"It's really not that bad, if you come to think about it," Taylor tells him ignoring his previous request. "So what if the whole school thinks you guys are dating now?"

"I don't think that anyone even thinks you and Bella might be together after she deleted the post." Madelaine added.

"Yeah, dude, you're overreacting." Kyle says while eating an apple.

"Hey, you don't get to say anything, alright? You are the reason I am in this mess." Chris says a little angry.

"What do you mean?" Gabrielle asks immediately.

"Yeah, what do you mean?" Natalie asks Chris.

"Nothing, he is just irritated that I told him to make out with her." Kyle hesitates.

"Why did you tell him to make out with her?" Taylor asks, an eyebrow raised.

"Because, he- he hadn't made out with anyone in two days." 

"Really? No. That is impossible." Madelaine smirks.

"Don't remind me." Chris rolls his eyes. Everyone started teasing Chris, while he defends himself with rubbish excuses. Even though they had moved on from the topic, Natalie could not shake off the feeling that was more to the story than just Kyle asking Chris to make out with a random girl. However, she decides not to drag it, because she does not want to come out as a clingy and jealous girlfriend. 

"Hey, what do you think about what Chris told us?" Natalie asks Taylor in their English Elective class. They both were the only people who had chosen elective in their group, so Natalie did not fear bringing up this topic.

"You mean how Kyle apparently just 'told' Chris to make out with Bella? Yeah, I'm not buying that bullshit." Taylor scoffs. Asking Taylor about Kyle was useless, because Natalie knew she was biased. She had every reason to be, but again Natalie did not trust anyone else.

"Well, me too. Both of them were so- defensive?" Natalie continues.

"Yeah, I really want to know what happened."

"Me too. But how? Kyle will definitely not say anything to me if- if you know-" Natalie trails off.

"Yeah, exactly, and I don't think Chris will too." Taylor cut in.

"What if we asked one of the other boys? Conner will know something." 

"Yeah, I think we have the next class with him. I have seen him in chemistry classes." Both the girls run out of the room as the bell rings, hoping to get to their chemistry class before Chris or Kyle so they could talk to Conner. However, they ran into Anwar in the corridors.

"Hey Marbilia!" He catches up to Taylor and Natalie, a little anger in his eyes, "I think you should know this- Your amazing boyfriend? He made a bet with Chris to see who could make out with my sister first. That douchebag came onto Bella, despite everyone of us saying not to, and when she rejected him, he couldn't handle it. Like a puppy. Then he has the fucking nerve to convince Chris not just to make out with her but to make her believe he wanted to date her and all that romantic shit because she was 'special'." Natalie did not even notice the small crowd forming around them. "And now he breaks her heart. I know Chris is the one who did this, but Kyle practically blackmailed him to do it. At least that's what he tells me. The sweet and fabulous boy who claims that he loves you, isn't who you think he is. He hurt my sister, Natalie. So, I hurt the closest thing he has. Tell Paulins, we're even now" 

"What the fuck, Anwar! How dare you-" Kyle appears  out of the crowd and punches Anwar in the face. Anwar tries to push him off of himself, but Kyle just punches him again. "Why the fuck would you tell her this! I didn't even do anything to you."
