"Where the fuck is he?" Phil scanned the snowy white landscape for any sign of his pink haired friend, but he didn't see anything. Techno had been gone for almost the entire day and now the sun was slowly setting, allowing the first mobs to wander out of the woods. Not that he cared much, as their home was secured by the fence they put around it and the weapons and armor they own are pretty strong too, but it still made him worried. Techno never lied to him... or stayed away from home too long. And if he planned to stay away for a few days he would always tell Phil. Hell, most of the time he'd ask if the blonde wants to come along and give him some company throughout the journey.

"Just going to grab some crimson wood he said. I'll be back in a few minutes he said. Yeah right..." One of his many crows was perched on the roof of his house and watched as their murder leader paced around, constantly looking into the general direction of the Nether portal. Phil's mind was racing with all the possible things that could have happened to his friend. The Nether is a ruthless place with so many possibilities to get killed or trapped or lost. No, Techno can't be killed that easily. He survived his own execution and an uncountable amount of wars and conflicts. There is a reason why the Piglin hybrid is known as the fucking blood god! He's not dead. He can't be. But what now? It's getting darker by the second and there is no sign from Techno. Not even a message over the communicator that everyone carries around.

"Fuck it. I'm looking for him." A different crow landed on the fence in front of him and shook it's head, telling him that Techno is fine and he doesn't need to worry. He's Techno after all. "No. He would have said something by now. Something has to be wrong." Multiple crows protested now, but Phil grabbed his sword and left anyways. "Stay here. You know I don't like it when you follow me into the Nether." More protest, but they stayed put and watched as Phil made his way out of the fenced area around the house. Really, it's Techno's fault for not telling him where he went or why he's taking so long. So he and the crows have no right to be angry when Phil's protective instincts kick in and make him look for his closest friend. For all Phil knows his friend could be in great danger! Even one of the most powerful warriors can be cornered sometimes. He's not invincible after all. He bleeds... and he can die.

"Don't worry Techno. I'm coming for you."

~Meanwhile in the Nether~

An annoyed growl echoed through the crimson forest as a large hoglin tripped over its own feet and fell to the ground yet again. Many small bruises and scratches already formed in the fluffy pink fur, clear evidence that this large creature had been bumping into things and fallen down small drops multiple times. 'This is stupid... I want my old body back...' Techno doesn't even know how this happened in the first place. One minute he was gathering wood and chasing off some Piglins that were starting to annoy him, the next he was struggling to walk on all fours and find his way back to the portal, while his massive body was constantly getting caught on something or crashed against a tree.

It was a miracle that he made it out of the forest without falling down a cliff or slip into lava. Now where is the portal? 'Good job human GPS. Or more like hoglin GPS now.' He growled at the annoying voices in his head that were too busy laughing at him to care. In the end he just wandered off into what he thinks should be the general direction of the portal as he saw some small cobble bridges nearby. Cobble means people, people means portal. Simple enough.

This time he walked much slower and concentrated on not tripping over his own feet for what felt like the millionth time. It was going well for a while, before he had to go down a small drop. That's when he tripped again and got yet another bruise. "Oh what the fu-" Techno looked up to see a terrified Philza not too far away from him. 'What is he doing here?!' "God you're huge..." Phil must have noticed that the hoglin was just staring at him and not hurting him, so he relaxed a little bit and took his time to look at the gigantic creature that could easily crush him in one motion.

"You're easily the biggest hoglin I have ever seen..." For some reason Phil was just mesmerized by the animal and couldn't stop looking at it. The hoglin seemed just as suprised to see Phil and didn't move away or closer. That was, until it saw a large group of Piglins moving towards them. Techno growled and got up to try and defend his friend, but scared the hell out of Phil who didn't see the Piglins yet and thought Techno was growling at him. He tried to get up and run, but Techno just grabbed him by the back of his coat and dragged him away from the Piglins. The whole way the immortal blonde was fighting against Techno's grip to try and get away, still thinking that he wants to kill him.

"Let me go!" His wings flared around and hit Techno, who just huffed and kept on dragging Phil with him into a cave that he barely fit in himself, but it will do for now. Once he let his winged friend down he immediately tried to escape again. Obviously he couldn't, as Techno's body was blocking the exit now. "Oh come on... what do you want from me?!" The only response Phil got from the gigantic beast was a small huff and it laying down in the entrance to the cave. Why is that hoglin so desperate to keep him in here? Actually, now that he got the chance to take a closer look at the creature, he noticed how beaten up it looked. Did something attack it? Slowly he approached the hoglin to take a closer look at the wounds. They don't look too bad, so they will heal pretty fast. When Phil touched one of them the hoglin gave a tired whine and flinched away.

"You poor thing... what did this to you?" Phil started to check every wound he could reach, pulling small splinters and rocks out whenever he could. With every new removed item the hoglin whined or huffed, but didn't move. It was probably too tired to do so. Once all wounds were cleaned as much as possible Phil settled down near the hoglin and just watched as it got a bit more comfortable. It's still blocking the exit, so there was no way to get out of the cave. The one time Phil doesn't bring a pickaxe. Well... might as well get some sleep as well. Tomorrow he will go look for Techno. Maybe the hoglin can help him with that? It seems like the giant creature took a liking to him, so it shouldn't be too hard to convince them to follow him.

He decided to slowly crawl over to the hoglin and settle against its stomach. It was much more comfortable than the stone floor and the warmth made him feel a little bit safer. The hoglin glanced at him for a moment before going back to sleep, which is obviously a sign of 'I don't mind you sleeping like this'. With one last yawn Phil cuddled against the fluffy fur and soon fell asleep.
