- all teenagers - one friend group - different lives -
Everyone always wants to speak about themselves and about great things happening to them, but no one ever wants to listen to the ugly truth.

I'm 17 years old, I'm straight, my height's 6'2 and I'm French. I go to Ravenwood High, a school my parents can actually pay for, not like others, and where I definitely deserve to be at.
I have dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes.

"Seriously the only one who saved me a seat is Natalia?" I groan, while nearing the bonfire that everyone is sitting around. Helena sat on the right side of Natalia, already having managed to grab herself a vodka bull, and on the left there was the only available space, between Natalia and Diego, who looked less tense and upright then usually, it probably having something to do with the alcohol.
"No, it's actually reserved, sorry", Natalia turned back and gave me one of her sarcastic full face smiles, while squinting her eyes together. That expression didn't do her any favours.
"For who? You and your stench?" I mocked, while defeatedly sitting down next to her, the same second the cold smoke hit my nose. I could see her roll her eyes from the corner of my sight and scooched over to Helena, just enough so her thighs weren't touching mine. Wow, I didn't enjoy the idea of sitting next to her either, but that bitch is pushing it to an unnecessary extent.
"Now stop fighting, you toddlers", Diego chimed in, while signalling us with his eyes, that we have company, so we should act civil for once. I have the hidden talent to read all his looks and expressions perfectly, for instance right now he's feeling embarrassed and anxious that we'll make a scene in front of the others. It might seem difficult at first to know whats on that guys mind, because it looks as if he only has two facial expressions. One's his normal diego face, which varies from he's doing good or is annoyed and the other one which means he's doing very good. It could be hard telling apart the meaning of his first expression, but if you've been hanging out with Diego since the long time ago that I've played soccer too, in 9th grade, you'd know him pretty well. But for reference I don't only bully Natalia out of hatred, but I think it's hilarious how worked up and angry she gets and that I'm still, after almost 3 quarters of a year, able to get all those reactions out of her.
"I'm not even fighting with this idiot, it's him", Natalia's brows knit together, while she practically spits the sentence out.
"It doesn't matter now, Natalia", I say matter of factly, while grinning, knowing it will be her end. This girl can't stand it when she's falsely accused of something, she has this weird thing about justice. And she hates it even more when you answer with something that just dismisses the fact, that she was right about something else. This is the most entertaining part, where I start watching her every millisecond expression, until she'll start yelling or punching me.
To my surprise, she just presses her mouth into a tight line and turns to me, forming an ironic smile and asks: "Truth or dare, Gabriel".
"Dare", I said with a confused expression to where she was going with that.
