Ticket

We get back to the house, and I stumble down to the basement, and climb into bed. This defiantly wasn't how I thought the night would go. The next morning I go up stairs to see Maddy making breakfast while chatting with Beth. Zack stands up from the couch in the Livingroom and walks into the kitchen. "How you feeling Jax?" he asks giving me a dirty look.

"Like shit." I reply.

"Good." he laughs, "Go get ready we have tickets today. I want you doing them." He says before walking into his room.

I go get ready then come back up stair. Maddy is the only one in the kitchen, "Jax...come talk to me." She says quietly. I follow her into her room, she shuts the door. "Why did you take the blame for that last night Jax, I know I told you not to tell Zack but that would have been the perfect time for him to find out because it wouldn't have been all on me."

I look away for a second then back at her, "I had to."

"What do you mean? Why?" she asks.

"I don't wanna talk about it Maddy." I tell her.

"Jaxson, Did he threaten you? I've never seen you be the type to fold to a threat." Maddy says.

"Yeah, I'm not." I say.

"Then what happened?" Maddy starting to get more aggressive with the question.

"He threatened you." I say just as Dustin walks in.

"Oh Sorry, I just need to go to the bathroom. You good?" He asks more directed towards Maddilyn.

"Yeah he was just apologizing, I told him its fine. He was really drunk. Mistakes happen." Maddy pulls out an excuse just before walking out.

"Careful with her Jax, Zack can be pretty protective." Dustin says.

"Not protective enough." I say under my breath as I start to walk out.

"What?" He asks.

I turn around, "Nothing." before walking out and to the porch where Zack is talking to Reid about the tickets.

"Oh hey, Jax, I was just telling Reid what the plan was for tonight. You and Reid are going to take Beth to do her ticket." Zack Explains.

"Wait, Beth? What did Beth do to get a ticket, and why Reid?" I have no idea why he would put Reid on Beth's ticket. Reid hates us, and is one of the better fighters in our district so it just doesn't make much sense. I would expect Kalub.

"Its just how it is. I want you doing the inside work. He can stand outside." Zack says.

"No Fucking way. I don't wanna do Beth's ticket. Have Kalub do it. You don't need me there since you have Reid." I cant believe he wants me doing this shit. Tickets aren't just a simple punishment. Depending on the crime, sometimes its more sexual. I don't wanna be the one doing anything like that with Beth.

"You were the one that fucked up last night and instead of giving you a ticket, this is what I want you doing. You should be happy, since that was ticket worthy." He gives me the ticket papers.

"I would honestly rather have a ticket." I tell him.

"Yeah I know. That's exactly why I not giving you one. Have fun tonight." He says before walking back inside. I read the ticket sheet,

Lying to Boyfriend (Dustin), to meet another boy in the woods behind the house. Boy was not identified. Boxers were found at scene. Beth found in just her underwear. Yelling for unidentified subject to "RUN!".

Fuck, of course its a sexual. Sexual crime, means Sexual punishment. Reid goes in to grab Beth. They come out, "Wait who is going in with me, I know my ticket looks bad but it wasn't what it looked like in the woods, okay? ZACK!" Beth shouts.

They walk up to me by the truck. "Beth obviously you know you have a ticket. Lets not make this harder then it has to be." I start reading her the ticket. "Its a Sexual Crime, me and Reid are completing your ticket punishment." I explain.

"So is Reid going in with me or you?" She asks. No one ever wants to go in with Reid. For obvious reasons. Reid Laughs.

I shake my head and look at Reid then back at Beth, "I'm going in with you."

"Damn okay, Thought this was a punishment, not a reward." She smiles and winks. This honestly sucks. We hop in the truck and head to the Cabin.
