❛ what's your motive? ❜

The days spilled upon the calendar of September after the first class hours had passed. Unfortunately, Camryn was still forced to be seated beside Potter for the duration of their Potions lessons, but to her surprise, his presence was becoming quite the pleasure.

They conversed, joked, and snickered about fellow students they greatly disliked, providing a form of entertainment into the hours. It was amusing to make fun of one another as well, and their dynamic took up the empty void of the world.

Today, Camryn could be spotted zipping across the Quidditch field on her trustworthy Nimbus, the sharp winds piercing through her luminous, wild hair. A Quaffle remained clutched in the grasp of her right hand as she gripped onto the wood of her broom with the other, performing impressive dives to avoid the reigns of the Beaters.

Quidditch tryouts were one of Camryn's favorite things to experience. There was nothing more thrilling than to scout out the secluded talents of the students who were brave enough to step foot onto the grass of the field.

Currently, it was the Beaters turn to prove their value to be on the Ravenclaw team, having to track down the Quaffle in Camryn's possession. So far, they were all failing to do their task.

"Cam, take it easy on them!" Kevin exclaimed with a chuckle, hovering in the air near the bleachers, "You don't wanna kill them already."

She rolled her eyes whilst expertly dodging a Beater's arm, "You know how I don't like to make things easy. That's boring."

"Ha. I bet you say that to all the people you get into bed with."

The Beaters tryouts soon after concluded, and Camryn touched down upon the ground with Kevin to meet up with Anthony. He stood anxiously, curling his pale hand around his broom while adjusting his Keeper uniform as he gave two curt nods towards his friends.

"I still can't believe you were able to convince me to do this." Anthony grumbled, visibly more apprehensive than annoyed.

"Well, Cami didn't exactly convince you." Kevin spoke thoughtfully, "More like an abduction. That body bag was scary as hell."

"It was only one time!" protested Camryn, swatting him sharply, "Don't make me abduct you next."

"Leave it to Camryn Rey to abduct her targets." an amused voice crooned, followed by a chuckle, "I'm not surprised at all."

Camryn sighed exasperatedly as she turned to face Harry Potter, raising her brows demandingly as he sauntered closer to the trio. It was a Saturday, therefore resulting in no classes that day, which meant he wouldn't be needing to wear his Gryffindor robes.
