Hayley's POV We all sat at the dinner table with little to no small talk. I kept looking over at Klaus. He was so different from how he was... well is... the man I met. Klaus was very quiet "oh my god Hope!" They all looked at me "who's Hope?" I looked around their faces "hope... I hope you all will I allow me to stay here" from the corner of my eye I saw Amayra face palm herself.
I noticed she did that a lot "well sweetheart..." Esther trailed off as she looked at Amayra and Mikeal "if it's alright with them I would love to have you" Amayra smiled "Rebekah and I could use the extra hands... that reminds me Mikeal" she got up and left Mikeal following. When Mikeal was gone everyone started talking "mother?" "Yea Niklaus" "May Hayley and I be excused?" "Of course" Klaus grabbed my hand and we ran out the back. "Klaus where are we going?" I laughed excitedly. Oh our way out we ran into a girl.
"Tatia!" Klaus let go of me hand and hugged her "well hello Niklaus" "have you thought about it?" The girl who resembled my old ally Katherine spoke "I'll go to the fire be myself and which ever one comes up to me first I shall dance with" the doppelgänger girl reached up on her toes "and I hope it will be you" she kissed his ear and then turned to me as if she hadn't noticed me before. She gave me a warm genuine smile "and whom might this be?"
Klaus smiled "this is Hayley she's staying with my family for awhile" "hi" I reached my hand out but she looked at it with a disgusting face before leaning in to hug me. "It was a pleasure to meet you. Niklaus you'll show me your surprise later right" she smiled "yes ma'am" she left then. " She your girlfriend?"
Klaus frowned if by girlfriend you mean am I courting her then no. I was until my brother Elijah came into the picture. He ruined everything with his jealousy" I didn't respond to him but he didn't stay on the topic for long?
"Hayley would you like to accompany me to the woods?" I smiled "what for?" "I've run out of paint" I nodded "alright but we have to hurry because I'm supposed to be helping Rebekah cook" Klaus grabbed my hand and we started running towards the trees.
We were surrounded by trees and pretty flowers. "These ones" I looked down at the mossy green ground. Covering the ground were vibrant flowers in different colors. "These flowers make the best paint because they are so vibrant in colors" "what do we do pick them" he nodded once and we started picking the flowers. "Niklaus I see your picking flowers again... and with a girl who looks ravishing might I add" I expected Klaus to stand up to the guy but instead he stayed silent "I'll see you tonight for the celebration" he winked at me.
"Nik what the hell was that?" "That's Markos don't worry about him" Klaus looked pained "hey are you okay?" "Do you remember how we met?" "Yes" "well believe it or not Markos attacked you" I looked off after him "hey Nik can you tell Rebekah and Amayra I'll be right there" I got off my ass and ran towards Markos.
"Hey Markos can I talk to you" "what is it?" "Are you a werewolf?" He smiled "what's it to you" "I'm a werewolf too" his brows went up "oh really" "well yeah I just don't think I've triggered it yet" I looked around to make sure we were alone "what are you suggesting?" "I guess I need to kill somebody".
********** We were standing in the woods about 45 minutes before the party started. "What are we doing here Markos?" "Just wait". I leaned against a tree and Markos walked up to me. He grabbed my dress and ripped it "what the hell!" "Wait you're gonna need it" "what are you talking about?" Just than a girl walked by us "hey?" "What the hell do you want Markos" her British accent faded "my friend here would like to speak to you" I smiled at her.
"This will only hurt for a second" I grabbed the side of her head like Klaus taught me and then cracked her neck. I felt my eyes change. Yes I looked down at the body "see you shouldn't have ripped me dress. I'll see you there" I walked off to Rebekah and I's tent thingy.
I grabbed her prettiest dress and slipped it on.

I ran out to the party and saw Tatia kissing Klaus. I felt a pang of jealousy in my heart.
