It had been a week of magical girl stuff every single night. Despite the fact that Cate would argue with Tabbi every time before hunting witches, Cate was taking a liking to the "superhero" kind of life. Beyond video games and anime, she hadn't really found anything she was really passionate about. This magical girl lifestyle gave her purpose.

School continued to be full of bullies, yet Cate didn't mind it as much anymore. At lunch, she'd eat outside by herself, telepathically talking to Kyubey. She made sure to avoid everyone who might stop to talk to her, simply because she was far too busy with magical girl stuff now. With the distancing, even Charlotte was easier to avoid with her new camera trick. Cate was able to manipulate the cameras around every corner of the school so that she could know when Charlotte was nearby or not. This made avoiding the blond girl much easier.

             "Welcome home, Charlotte."

Charlotte entered her incredibly large abode and was greeted by her father's employed staff of cleaning workers.

"Thank you..." Charlotte replied, handing her coat to the kind lady at the door.

"Is something the matter?" The lady seemed concerned with the disinterest Charlotte's expression displayed.

"No..." Charlotte walked to the staircase before adding. "Just something I need to think about... Thank you, Annabeth, for asking." She smiled politely back at the maid before ascending the stairs.

She went down a long hallway before entering a door on the right. It was a spacious room with many pieces of expensive furniture lining the walls. The walls were patterned with pink and black stripes, complimenting the same color pallet from the bed in the middle of the room. The large walk-in closet was organized perfectly by color and not a hair seemed to be out of place. The room was comfortable with large windows offering evening lighting to fill the room.

The girl walked in, shut the door, locked it, and then wandered over to a fancy desk. Sitting down in a fluffy, white, swivel chair, Charlotte gently opened once of the drawers on the side of the furniture. Underneath a few books was a plain journal. She promptly yet softly selected it and opened it on her desk.

The thick book had been filled with incredibly detailed yet neatly organized notes on all sorts of observations that Charlotte had collected. As she flipped through the book to find the next blank page, the blond skimmed the information to see if anything needed corrections. Seeming content with her prior work, she found herself ready to write. She grabbed a black pen from her professionally engraved pencil holder and began to write.

              "April 11, 2010

"Despite the incredible progress, complications have presented themselves this week.

"It seems that the bullying with Ms. Haynes has returned most of the balance within the school. Fellow classmates are spreading rumors, teachers are still denying my intentions towards Ms. Haynes, and even Elise has stopped interfering with my ambitions. However, it seems that Ms. Haynes has been able to predict and avoid my presence. She has been absent from school dining and none of my cohorts have reported her in the halls. Even so, she has yet to be listed for missing classes. This is quite perplexing.
