RULES,

Participants' Rules:

━ (1) ❝ Follow LostAssassinHood permanently. This is to raise awareness about our profile and invite more people to our services. You will also be needing to receive updates and notifications about the awards - we don't want anyone missing out on anything and will be checking. If you're not following us and miss out on something, the blame will be on you. Remember, we will be checking occasionally ❞

━ (2) ❝ Add this book to your library and a public reading list for updates. We especially don't want you missing out on the results ❞

━ (3) ❝ Please shout this book out on your message boards in order to raise awareness about our awards ❞

━ (4) ❝ All entries must be in English ❞

━ (5) ❝ You may enter up to 2 books, both of which must be in separate genres. You may not enter one book into more than one genre - this is to ensure that everyone gets a chance ❞

━ (6) ❝ All entries must have at least 5 chapters, excluding any chapters that don't have anything to do with the plot (eg, playlists, character aesthetics, disclaimer, acknowledgements/author notes, etc.). The only exception to this rule is short stories or poetry, which must have 3 chapters at the very least. Any entries that do not meet these requirements will not be read by the judge and will be disqualified immediately ❞

━ (7) ❝ Please refrain from changing the title of your entry or your username. If you do change either one, please fill out the form(s) in the chapter titled changes forms or you will be disqualified immediately ❞

━ (8) ❝ Follow your judge(s) once they are announced. We will be checking. The password is your favorite weapon (please be vague about the fact that it's a password and put it under the section labeled Other in the form) ❞

━ (9) ❝ All participants are required to read, vote, and comment on at least three chapters of a book written by their judges. This must be done within 48 hours following the announcement of their entries and judge(s) ❞

━ (10) ❝ If you have anything that you need to tell your judge(s), please privately DM us about it and we will inform them as we do not want any communication between the participants and judges to prevent bribery and conflict ❞

━ (11) ❝ Have fun! Although this is an Assassin battle, it doesn't mean you have to frown through it all. We'd love for everyone to have an encouraging attitude ❞

Judges' Rules:

You will also be needing to receive updates and notifications about the awards - we don't want anyone missing out on anything and will be checking. If you're not following us and miss out on something, the blame will be on you. Remember, we will be checking occasionally ❞

━ (2) ❝ Add this book to your library and a public reading list for updates. We especially don't want you missing out on the books you will be assigned ❞

━ (3) ❝ This rule isn't mandatory but we'd love it if you could shout this book out on your message boards in order to raise awareness about our awards ❞

━ (4) ❝ If you are a participant as well, you cannot judge in the genre you entered ❞

━ (5) ❝ There is no reading limit. However, you must read a minimum amount of 5 chapters for each entry (3 if it's short story/poetry) to keep it fair ❞

━ (6) ❝ If participants don't follow you, let us know immediately so we can remind them. If they continue to disobey, you will not need to read their entry ❞

━ (7) ❝ If a participant reaches out to bribe you, please let us know immediately so we can disqualify them. For this reason, please refrain from interacting with the participants about anything to do with the awards ❞

━ (8) ❝ Have fun! Although this is an Assassin battle, it doesn't mean you have to frown through it all. We'd love for everyone to have an encouraging attitude ❞
