"Cardo wake yo ass up!" I heard dad calling me "Yes?" I called back packing up my things it was seven but I had practice early today so I decided to get ready early instead of sleeping in
"Boy I said wake u- oh morning." He said once he saw that I was awake and fully dressed.
"Want a ride?" He asked
"Nah, I'll walk it's supposed to be hot outside." "Cool." He mumbled before leaving
"Ashton have you seen my book bag?" Jake said running into my room
"Nah ask momma." I said walking downstairs
"She's at work!" He called from upstairs but that's not my issue
"Help him find his bag!"
"For fuck sakes." I cursed to myself before turning around to go look for his stupid book bag
"Here. Did you even fucking look?" "Yes and it wasn't there."
"Whatever and go do your hair it looks bad." I said looking at his wild curls
"Dad said it looked good." "Well pops lied."
"You're so fucking mean." "Swear at me again!"
"Leave me alone!" He complained "Shut up." I said before I decided to leave he's twelve. What I look like arguing with a kid?

"Man you blocked her knowing dam well her ass gonna be crying and shit." He went on and I could hear Ryan in the background
"Tell him I'm sorry." She whispered and I felt bad
"Did you say it?"
"Tell her she ain't got nothing to be sorry for." I said and he repeated what I said

"I was sad but I'll always love you Ashton but maybe I should stay away just for a little while because you're in a relationship whether I like it or not and I won't be the reason another girl heart breaks." She said and I heard her voice crack
