"I missed you." Imani whispered softly beside me
"I missed you too." I replied honestly
We haven't seen each other in a while but now that we were together again i can't lie I've missed my girl.
"Then why were you with her?" She asked "Why you gotta bring her into this?"
She just needed to not think about Ryan. Right now was about us and fixing our mess.
"Because Ashton it's disrespectful for you to still talk to her after all she's done to me." She mumbled and I could tell she was catching an attitude
"Don't start that shit we just had a good fucking day." I said trying to end this before it escalated.
"I'm not starting anything I'm simply telling you how it is!" She shouted back
"Imani I'm not doing this with you." I said getting up to leave and she grabbed my hand making me push her back maybe a little to rough
"I told you not to touch me."
"What the hell!" She cried looking up at me in shock but I didn't feel bad.
Imani has a bad habit of touching or hitting me when I'm upset and can't handle when I retaliate.
"I'm leaving." "Wait no!" She said running over to me
"What Imani man?" "Why are you being like this?"
"Stop trying to play victim I told you to leave me alone and you kept pushing."
"Why was you with her?"
"She's going through a lot and she needed her best friend I've told you that a million times."
"She hit me and hurt me. She's literally the reason I have all these bruises and you're just gonna continue talking to her?"
"She was upset."
"I'm your girlfriend not her." She screamed more tears escaping her eyes
"I never said that Imani! it's you putting all this negative shit into your head then acting all crazy and shit." I said sitting down on her bed with a sigh
"I'm tired of it if you can't trust me then why we even together?" I said looking over at her
"I do trust you.. around certain females." She whispered at the end
