Mikoto's P.O.V.

"Mikoto, will you come to my performance with me tonight!" Ann said with a blush on her face.

A performance...hmm might be interesting... "Sure..I'll go." As soon as I said this, a bright smile crossed her face.

"Thank you so much! I'll have to get changed but I'll come pick you up at 10:15pm. So don't take too long of a nap, okay." Ann raddled off in excitement. A side she hardly shows anyone other than family and trusted friends. I guess her personality hasn't changed, but there is something different that I can put a finger on. Once she left the room I slowly got up and made my way down stairs. At the foot of steps I could hear the front door bell jingle signaling She has left. Walking to my normal seat at the bar, Izumo stared at me for a moment before sighing.

"I witnessed something odd with Miss Harrison." He started to put the class down on the counter before continuing. "She was in the kitchen earlier cooking when I started to hear voices other than Miss Harrison so I went to investigate. That is when I saw a strange aura emanating from her." Before he continued I raised my hand motioning for him to stop.

"I know what you are thinking Izumo, but I believe this is something else." I stared.

"Are you sure about this." Asked. With that I just nodded my head and went upstairs to get ready. I have a feeling that whatever she is hiding will show itself. Sooner than later.

Time skip

As she promised she had arrived at ten fifteen. She was wearing a beautiful red dress with a v-neckline and with a split at the hip. She wore black heels and had her hair up in a French braid bun. A faint scent wafted the air of lavender and Rosemary. She looked absolutely gorgeous.

"You look great, Ann. " I said, taking her hand and leading her to the car.
"You look good as well, Mikoto.Thank you for coming with me. I haven't had a gig in forever. So recently, because of the lack of a singer needed, I picked up another job as a waitress at dinner not far from Homra."

Opening the driver side door for her, notice the empty gun holster between the drive side seat and the center console. Noticing that she laughed to herself. "Dad added that while he was living in the U. S., but it's never carried anything since we started living in Japan so no worries." Nodding to this I shut the door of the car as she sat in the driver's seat. I then quickly made my way around to the passenger side to get in as well.

The car ride to the hotel where Ann said she was performing was quiet other than the music. It was then when I realised that the hotel was in the blue kings territory. Sighing mentality I knew that the bastard would try to start something, and will try to drag Ann into. I just hope that he is not at the hotel that she's performing at.

On arrival we were greeted by the Valet. As Ann gave him the keys she then quickly gave him a warning before linking arms with me and walking to the hotel's conference room where she had a private table set to the side of the stage with two plates and wine glasses. Sitting down I noticed that all the tables had at least one or two blue clansmen. "Shit this is going to be a pain."

Ann's P.O.V.

Mikoto was quiet the whole ride to the hotel but I could tell he was nervous about something. I didn't know what it was but I guess I will find out sometime. Suddenly a backstage member came to me letting me know that I needed to briefed on tonight's songs list. Nodding my head I looked over to Mikoto and smiled.
"Hey Mikoto, I have to head up on stage now. It seems I have to sing some older songs tonight so they have to brief me on which ones I have to do." I said standing up slowly. " "Okay, do your best." He nodded in approval. As I headed up the stage I saw my manager.
"Jessica, how are you?" I said smiling and giving her a hug. It's been too long since the last time. When was it I saw you last? Kyoto or Osaka?" Pulling out of my hug she laughed. "Osaka and I don't remember the last time you brought a hottie to your gigs." She motioned to Mikoto sipping on his glass of water. "Anyways Ann I need you to sing these. I know you're more of a rocker but it's the client's request. Taking the list I saw that all the songs were very old slow songs. Looking back at Jessica I gave her a grin. Can I change the pace of the songs." Holding her finger to her lips she nodded. " Nothing in the contract says you can alter the pace of the songs. So go for it."
"Let the band know I want this song to have more of a pop tune to it. this one stays the same and this one can stay as is to. The third one says it's optional so I'll do a song with similar tones."
