"Oi, lady you need some help." I heard a voice call out from behind me. Closing the trunk, I looked up to see a young man wearing a long sleeve white V-neck with a red sweater tied around his waist. He had a black beanie that covered his chestnut coloured hair as well as a pair of headphones that hung around his neck.
"Hello, yeah I kinda need some help. My old girl here needs a couple of water bottles then she'll be good, but sadly I don't have any." I said tapping the side of the car.
"Well sorry lady but I don't have any but... Hay Tatara got any water bottles in that bag of yours?" He called over his shoulder. Looking behind him I saw another man who was a bit taller than the first guy. He wore long sleeved white shirt with an upturned collar. His light brown hair and brown eyes look so familiar to me. Then it hit me. Tatara Totsuka, he was in my class my freshman year. He really hasn't changed at all. He looks a lot more happier than when the last time I saw him. Before we became friends, Tatara used to be silent and always sat at the back of the class. Until put out my hand made friends with him. "Hay Tatara long time no see." I said giving a genuine smile. It took him a fraction of a second before he called out my old nickname.
"Bell-chan, is that you? When did you come back to the Shizume City?" He exclaimed with excitement.
"Yeah, I came back yesterday. I was actually heading back to my apartment from a job interview when my car started steaming. luckly all she needs is two bottles of water to get her by." I said motioning to my car.
"Hay wait a Second, Tatara you know this chick?" The kid with the headphones said eyeing the both of us curiously.
"Oh sorry let me introduce you. This is Anabella Lee Harrison. Bell-chan this is Misaki Yata." He said gesturing towards Yata. "It's a pleasure to meet you Misaki-kun." I said holding out my hand. He takes and shakes my hand.
"Nice to meet you too, Anabella. b-but could you not call me Misaki?." He said with a sheepish grin.
"Sure if you want call me Ann or Bell. Want me to call you Yata?" I said releasing his hand. He nodded as I turned my attention towards Tatara. Looking back at Tatara, I then asked if he had any water bottles in his satchel. " Yeah, I do actually." He said leaning to the side opening his satchel retrieving two bottles of water. Taking the waters from Tatara I walked back over to the engine and start putting the water in radiator. As I was doing this Tatara asked me a question I wasn't really ready for.
"Hay bell-chan, how are your parents." He asked I wasn't really read for that question and almost dropped the bottle on the engine itself. Gathering my thoughts I did the worst thing, I lied to him. Hate Lying to my friends, but I'm still mourning.
"Their fine, actually enjoying their days at home." I said with a shaky voice that I tried to cover.
"Oh, Okay." Was the only thing Tatara said. Once I was finished I removed the hood arm and placed it in its slot before slamming the hood. After a few more minutes of talking Mitsaki glanced at his watch let out a gasp.
"Hay Tatara we were supposed to be back a Homra an hour ago!" He Exclaims.
"Well that's not good Izumo is going to be mad." Tatara said rubbing his neck. Looking at them both I gave them a gentle smile.
"If you want, I can give you a lift and take you to where y'all need to go." I said stepping around the car to the driver's side. Both of their eyes lit up as the rushed to hop in. Yata sat shotgun while Tatara sat in the back. Cranking her up music began to blast through the stereo system causing Yata cover his. Yata was about to place his hand on the volume knob when I slapped his hand.
"Driver picks the music and how loud she or he wants it. So don't touch." I said glaring at him. He pouted and place his hands in his lap. "Alright Tatara, tell me the way." I said and he nodded.
