Chapter #5 - Teresa's Origin

With part of the shopping district turning into a war zone, Teresa charges at Eva, Hugh, and Otis, hitting Hugh in the process. Eva and Otis dodge the attack, each one moving to opposite sides and the Scorbunny taking close range with quick attack. Teresa quickly turns her head to Eva and dodges to the right, following with a head butt to knock the bunny to a nearby stand. Hugh gets back up and flies up, using Leafage to attack the Shinx from above. Otis closes in with Razor Shell, while Teresa dodges as many projectiles as possible, avoiding the oncoming slashes.

(Notices a decent size rock next to her)

Teresa: "(Thinking to herself) I see..."

Otis tries to slash her from the left side, but Teresa dodges to the right and grabs the stone with her mouth. The Shinx quickly throws the stone towards Hugh up above.

(Painful tone)

Hugh: "AUGH!"

(Turns back to Hugh falling down from the sky)

Otis: "HUGH!"

Teresa tackles Otis with spark, knocking him slightly back to the ground. Eva gets back up and shoots Ember as a distraction at the Shinx, while running towards her. Teresa blocks them with thunder shock, but the Scorbunny uses quick attack and manages to close her distance, followed by throwing a string of punches and kicks at Teresa. Despite this, the Shinx dodges all of them and Hugh gets back up using Leafage as projectiles from above.

(Thinking in shock, while fighting Teresa)

Eva: "H-How?! She's holding her ground against the three of us. As if she's been doing stuff like this since she was born!"

Teresa: "(Thinking to herself) Pathetic! Claiming you won't let me leave, and all of you fight like amateurs who've never fought once in your life. (Switches to anger tone) STOP WASTING MY TIME AND GIVE ME THAT BAG!!!"

Eva swings her left hand at Teresa, but she ducks down and uppercuts the scorbunny with her head. After stumbling back a little, the Shinx uses multiple thunder shocks at Hugh. The Rowlet dodges some of the oncoming attacks with aerial maneuvers, but eventually gets hit and falls to the ground. Otis looks ahead to see Teresa running towards the bag full of medicine, and uses water gun to stop her. She notices both an attack and Eva running after her, and uses her maw to pick up a wooden board broken off from a nearby stand. With the water gun reaching her first, Teresa grabs the bag and wraps it around her back, then jumps on the board placed beside her. Otis notices the mistake he caused but before stopping, the water gun boosts Teresa across the shopping district.

(Stops using water gun in shock)

Otis: "No! (Turns to Eva) I-I'm sorry, I didn't know she would-"

(Shouts to Otis while running after Teresa)

Eva: "Nevermind the apology, go check on your brother!"

Otis runs over Hugh, who's slowly getting up.

(Helps Hugh get up)

Otis: "Hugh, are you alright?!"

(Panting)

Hugh: "Ugh...barely. Where's the Scorbunny?"

(Points to the direction where they went)

Otis: "She went after that Shinx. If you can still move, we need to follow suit."

(Concern tone)

Hugh: "No! We should let the higher ups handle this. We clearly weren't ready to take on a Pokemon like that-"
