A Flyers Only Love

Hey everypony. I hope y'all like this chapter. This was requested by @ErinKruger. I hope y'all like it! FYI,this takes place later on in the future.

I look over at light blue stallion. He sure was handsome. I shook my head. No. I had a show to do. I have a career to maintain. I don't have time for love. I fitted my goggles over my eyes and took to the sky. I did a few flips and barrel rolls. I did a bunch more tricks that led up to my final trick. I went faster than a bullet higher into the air. I looked down and saw that everypony was just a speck. I suddenly dived down,feeling the wind flowing through my rainbow hair. I felt the sound barrier bend slightly,the completely. I heard a boom and a rainbow exploded behind me. I flew towards the ground. I did one last flip and landed safely onto the ground. The crowds erupted with cheers and I basked in the glory. I took one last look at the fading rainbow in the sky and trotted over to the other Wonderbolts. Yeah. That's right. I'm a Wonderbolt now if it wasn't obvious.
"Great job Rainbow Dash!" I heard someone exclaim. I turned and saw another member of the Wonderbolts trot over to me. It was Soarin. My knees suddenly felt weak and I forced a smile on my face.
"Thanks Soarin. You weren't half bad yourself." I said. I saw him blush and I blush too. I look over at Spitfire and Fleetfoot. They had humorous looks in their eyes. They knew I liked Soarin and they say Soarin likes me. Of course I didn't believe them. There's no way he liked me. We all flew away and went to our base. Our base was also our home. I walked up the stairs and went into my room. I looked into the mirror. My rainbow colored hair was all messed up and my magenta eyes were tired. I looked horrible. I looked at the picture on my dresser and almost cried. It was a picture of me and all my friends. I grabbed the picture and looked at it. Pinkie Pie and Cheese Sandwich had gotten married and now own a party planning shop. Twilight was now sole princess ever since Celestia and Luna retired from old age. Fluttershy and (wince) Discord had gotten married and now live in the depths of the Everfree Forest. Rarity owns her own boutique in Canterlot along with her fiancé Spike. Yes. Spike and Rarity are going to be married soon. Then Applejack and Caramel are married and have a kid named Apple Cider. Applejack is also sole owner of Sweet Apple Acres since Granny Smith's death and Big Mac moving in with Cherilee. I sighed as I looked at the picture. The last time I saw any of them was at Pinkie's and Cheese's wedding. I had missed Fluttershy's and Discords because I had a show. Most of my friends had somebody to love while I was just sitting in the shadows watching the love of my life preform. I put the picture down and decided to go visit them. I grabbed my hair brush and tamed my wild hair down a bit. I walked out the door and was about to fly away when I heard the door open behind to me. I turn to see Soarin walk through the door.
"Where ya goin Dashie?" He asked. I blushed. He called me Dashie. I got myself together.
"I'm going to see my friends." I said. He smiled.
"Can I come?" He asked. My magenta eyes widened in surprise. I nodded and took to the night sky. I looked beside me and saw Soarin beside me. I smiled. He smiled too with that perfect smile,his green eyes sparkling in the starlight. I look around me and saw stars all around me.
"So who are we visiting first?" He asked.
"Twilight. Then Rarity considering we're almost to Canterlot." I said. He nodded and we flew in sync towards the castle. When we got there,we flew into the castle. We swooped down to the ground and walked towards the tower. Just before we got to the castle,we were stopped by two castle guards. I recognized Flash as one of them.
"Halt. Who are you and Why are you here?" The other guard said.
"I am Rainbow Dash and this is Soarin. We are here to see Princess Twilight." I said. Flash looked me over and recognition shined in his eyes.
"Don't worry. Rainbow here is Twilights best friend. I'll guide them to Princess Twilight." He said. The other guard nodded and we walked down the hall with all the stained glass windows. I recognized the one when we turned Luna good,when we turned Discord into stone the first time,when we turned him to stone the second time,Twilight becoming a princess,and many more. We finally made it to the doors at the end of the hall and Flash opened them to a purple alicorn reading on a light purple cushion. At the sound of the doors opening,she lifted up her head. Her eyes glazed with happiness when she saw Flash. She then looked at me and gasped.
"Rainbow Dash!" She said. She trotted over to me and we hugged.
"How have you been?" I asked.
"I've been alright. Lots of duties." She said.
"How have Shining Armor and Cadence been?" I asked.
"They've been alright. They had one daughter named Solar Wish and Cadence is pregnant with a baby boy." Twilight said. I thought about it for a bit. Solar Wish. I liked that name.
"What does Solar Wish look like?" I asked.
"She's white with bright pink hair with light blue highlights and bright blue eyes. She doesn't have her cutie mark yet." Twilight said.
"She sounds adorable. Now sorry to keep this short but I have to visit our other friends. I'll see you later Twi." I said.
"Bye Rainbow." Twilight said. I walked out. We then flew to Rarity's boutique. When we got there,Rarity was drawing a sketch. I leaned against the wall and waited a bit.
"Oh Rarity." I said. Rarity turned around and a smile was instantly on her face.
"Rainbow Dash!" She said. We hugged and talked. She then peered over my shoulder.
"So who's this?" She asked me. I turned my head.
"That's Soarin. He's another Wonderbolt on the team." I said. She then whispered in my ear.
"Is he your boy friend?" She whispered. I shook my head no.
"Well sorry to cut it short but I have to visit the others. See ya Rarity!" I said. She waved at me and I walked out.

I collapsed onto my bed exhausted. We had just got back from visiting everyone. Everyone was good. Pinkie had a kid since then. It was a boy named Bubble Gum. He was a light brown earth pony with pink hair. He doesn't have a cutie mark. Fluttershy is alright. She and Discord are happy. Applejack is good. She and Caramel are happy. Apple Cider was excited to see me. Apple Cider is an orange earth pony with light orange hair with light brown highlights. She just got her cutie mark. It's a bottle of apple cider. I looked back at the picture with a smile. I missed all my friends and I was happy that they were happy. I heard the door open and Soarin trotted in. He seemed nervous.
"Hey Rainbow. Can I tell you something?" He asked.
"Sure Soarin. Ask away." I said. He poked the ground with the tip of his hoof and bowed his head.
"Ever since I met you,I've always had a crush on you. I just love your daring personality and your fear of practically nothing and I just love that about you. I love you Dashie." He said. My magenta eyes widened again. I rushed up and nuzzled him. He seemed surprised.
"I love you too Soarin." I said. He nuzzled me. We stayed that way for awhile. That's when I realized that Soarin was my only love. A flyers only love.

I hope y'all liked it. No before anyone asks,the reason Twilight never asked anything about Soarin was because she was mostly distracted by Rainbow. She never even noticed Soarin because she was so happy to see Rainbow. So that's y. I will update as soon as I can. Starburst out!
