Fleeting Fire

Hey everypony. I hope you like this chapter. This is a FleetfootXSpitfire chapter. Now I'm sorry if it's not very good. Idk these two characters very well. But I hope u like it!

I looked over at the gorgeous sky blue pegasus with slicked back snow white hair. Wait? Did I just say gorgeous? Nah. She's just a friend. I took to the sky,the wind blowing through my fire colored hair. My red-orange eyes scanned the ground below. I landed onto a cloud with a large house on it. It was white with a sky-blue roof. There were light purple flowers planted outside. I trotted into my house,into my room. I looked into the mirror and looked at myself. My fire orange hair was slicked back and my red-orange eyes were bright. My mind was filled with Fleetfoot. I shook my head. No. She's a girl. I can't like a girl! It would ruin my reputation! I walked outside and flew towards Fleetfoot's house for practice. I stopped outside a light purple house with a white roof and sky-blue clouds scattered across the roof. I trotted inside.
"Fleetfoot! I'm here!" I said.
"I'll be right there Spitfire!" A voice said from the back. A sky-blue pegasus with slick snow white hair trotted out. Our eyes met,red-orange met light pink. I blushed and looked down. When I looked up,her face was red also.
"So you ready?" I asked. She nodded and we walked outside and took to the sky. We practiced a few flips and barrel rolls and went inside for some rest. I sat at the table while Fleetfoot got us some snacks. She came out with a plate of rainbow cookies that our friend Rainbow Dash gave us and a pitcher of apple cider. I grabbed me a cookie and poured us both a glass of cider.
"So I was thinking,maybe we should let Rainbow Dash join us." I suggested. Fleetfoot thought about it. She then nodded. I smiled.
"Ok. I'll go tell her. You wanna come with?" I asked her.
"Yeah. Sure. Let me go get Swift." She said. Swift was her pet eagle. She found him on a cloud with a broken wing and she cared for him. When it was healed and she tried to let it go free,he had refused to leave. So now he was her pet. She went to the back room and opened the door. Swift came flying out and landed on her shoulder. We all took to the sky and started flying towards Ponyville. We landed onto a cloud in front of a light blue house with a rainbow roof and Rainbow's cutie mark across the house. I knocked on the door and stood next to Fleetfoot. I looked at her,my orange eyes connecting with her beautiful purple eyes. She smiled as I blushed. I continued staring into her eyes when I heard somebody clear their throat. I jerked my head to see Rainbow Dash looking at me with an amused look in her magenta eyes.
"Hey Spitfire. Hey Fleetfoot. What's up?" She asked nonchalantly. I cleared my throat and grabbed out something from my saddle bag.
"Rainbow Dash. We have seen many of your performances and we are amazed. You are truly the best flier in Equestria. Would you be honored to become a fellow Wonderbolt?" I said,revealing a Wonderbolt badge in my hoof. She gasped.
"Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh. Oh my gosh." She said really quickly. She grabbed the badge and looked at it,as if we were kidding. I laughed,hearing Fleetfoot laugh too. Rainbow Dash then calmed herself down and saluted.
"I would be honored." She said. I saluted her back and smiled.
"Do you guys want to come inside for some rainbow cookies and apple cider?" She asked. I looked at Fleetfoot and she shook her head.
"No. We have other things to do. Maybe later." She said with an angel voice. I mentally shook my head. No. I can't like girls. It would ruin my reputation or my career. But then our eyes connected and I forgot all that. I realized that I loved her. We waved goodbye to Rainbow Dash and took to the skies. We landed outside her house and I stopped her before she entered her house.
"Fleetfoot. Listen. I know you might hate me when i say this but I want you to know that I love you. I love your beautiful eyes and your voice and your personality. I love all that about you. I understand if you hate me now." I said,hanging my head. All was silent for awhile until I felt someone nuzzle me. I looked up in surprise to see her nuzzling me.
"I love you too Spitfire." She said. I nuzzles her back and we stayed that way,watching the sun go down below the horizon.
