#24- Indulging in Kidnapping (again)

"Jungkook, I assume you know why I requested your presence in my office?"

Mr. Kim, sitting on his office chair asked a confused looking Jungkook.

"No sir, not at all,"

He said and gulped, he was doing "business" with a girl before he got a call from Mr. Kim himself requesting him to go to his office for a talk.

"I would like to ask about Taehyung and Lalisa,"

He continued, Jungkook couldn't help his mouth from blabbering when he heard the twos names

"Oh! That prostitu-"

"I mean, that girl who transferred in our school! What about them?"

Jungkook immediately tried to cover up his slip.

"I would like to ask, what is Taehyung planning when he brought Lalisa here and why he suddenly wanted to live with her after all these years, he's not plotting something that could hurt Lalisa right?"

After asking all the questions, Jungkook was suddenly sweating being bombarded with loads of questions that he's not even sure if he should or even have the rights to answer.

"After all these years? I mean- nothing sir, I know about Taehyung and Nice and how they're going to get married, Taehyung is just playing his old game and wanted the new transfer girl to play his game. He's not serious or anything, he's probably gonna just leave her hanging and desperate for him at the end like how all his targets have been. You don't have to worry about Taehyung and Nice's relationship, Nice is the only girl Taehyung would take seriously sir,"

He explained, hearing his words, the CEO clenched his fist and said

"That little punk-"

But before he could fully pour out his anger, a Lalisa busted in from the door holding Taehyun's hand, she had listened to all of what they were talking about from top to bottom, and she needed not to hear anymore.

"Thank you sir really, for accepting me in this job, I hoped to offer you the best of my abilities, but I have to decline this wonderful offer you've given me and sorry for accidentally eavesdropping, I know it's rude so I apologize, I headed here because Taehyung told me to, but I think there's no need for that after what I heard,"

She said and bowed, she hesitated whether or not to take the job for Taehyun, but decided to decline the job in the end. She gave Jungkook a menacing look before going straight out of the door.

On her way out, she came across a Taehyung who was on his way to his father's office.

"Oh, hey! I-"

But before he could finish, Lalisa ended his sentence

"If you would, just leave me alone and stay out of my life,"

She said without looking in his eyes and just hurriedly went away from there. He was going to go after hee but figured he should just go to his father's office.

"What happened?"

He asked and his father looked at him with blazing eyes. As Mr. Kim explained everything, Taehyung received an extra scolding from him.

"JUNGKOOK YOU IDIOT!"

He said and went out the office rushing to make a phone call.

"Get them,"

He said.

Lalisa and Taehyun went back to their small apartment and headed to bed.

"Today has been a rough day for the both of us, let's get a good night's sleep and start tomorrow like it's any other okay?"

She said and Taehyun just nodded. As they both drifted to dream land, they hadn't notice the strange gas that filled their room.

As Lalisa opened her eyes, she was hit by the blinding rays of the sun. It took a while for her to process where they were as she just woke up, but when she did,

"WHY THE HELL AM I IN THE SKY?!"
